I don't understand why anyone that considers themselves a Democrat or an American for that matter, would oppose the thought of something happening to eliminate Trump's chances of winning. Biden is 81 years old and less than 40% of Americans approve of him. If you think he is "the best we have", you seriously need to have your head checked or you just have no understanding of politics. What you and I think of Biden is meaningless. The perception of all voting Americans is what matters. The perception of the majority is that Biden is a weak candidate and/or they just don't like him for one reason or another. Biden at his age is going to do nothing to change this perception prior to November. For these reasons, us true anti-Trump Americans are going to hope and pray for a better candidate to make sure Trump is defeated. Those candidates are out there. Seriously, which part of this situation is so difficult for you to understand?

The job is to beat trump and Biden has already proven he can do that. No other candidate can say that. That is the critical mission.

He has all sorts of healthcare proposals and has worked to negotiate lower drug prices for Americans.

Black Percentage of registered voters for swing states. Georgia: 32%, NC: 22%, Michigan: 13%, PA: 10%. I don't want Trump to win, but a lot of Democrats are being way too confident that Biden will definitely win. The 2020 NC governors races suggest some vote switching will occur if Trump chooses a Black VP. In 2020 Incumbent NC Governor Cooper (D) got reelected with 51.5% of the vote. Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson (R) got 51.6% and he did not have incumbency advantage. In 2020 there were multiple NC counties with a large Black population where Democrats won for Governor, but Republicans won for Lieutenant Governor.

All these new polls were before what even Fox News admitted was a successful SOTU speech.

One poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation showed Biden leading Trump 47 percent to 44 percent. There were 1,072 registered voters surveyed between February 20 and 28 in this poll.

Another poll of 1,350 registered voters by Emerson College put Biden ahead of the Republican by two percentage points, 51 percent to 49 percent. The survey was carried out between March 5 and 6.

Of the 6,334 registered voters surveyed by Morning Consult between March 1 and 5, 44 percent would vote for Biden and 43 percent for Trump.

And Biden would beat Trump 43 percent to 42 percent, according to TIPP polling.

I don’t think Biden will physically be capable of making it to election day. Some moments I see him he looks ok, good even, but then I will see a clip of him walking or speaking and it’s very painful to watch. He looks and sounds much different from even 2 years ago.

Anyone concerned about Trump should not dismissed Biden’s poor polling.

Age = he can’t change
But maybe it’s more than age.

- Does his support of Israel make him look heartless in the face of a destroyed Gaza?
- Are his policy proposals resonating with voters or just not transformative enough (he tinkers around the edges of things but I see no huge bold ideas)
- Does his new focus on the border seem politically too convienwnt?
- continued funding of Ukrainian war - are people feeling that money is best spent at home bc co tinuing to send might be another forever war?
- should he change his messaging on abortion where he tried to separation “good” and “bad” and just tell the GOP get your hands off my granddaughters bodies? (Ie any medical decision a woman makes about her own body should be a decision between her and her doctor)

I don’t have the answers but if one really wants a Biden victory in Nov, I hope his team is asking these hard questions rather than deflecting.
