Biden’s latest Poll numbers

Anonymous
There is no chance at all that Biden wins. Take a look at Virginia. Senator Kaine, a Democrat, is easily winning reelection. He's up by 11 points. Meanwhile, in the same poll, Biden is losing to Trump by 3 points. That's 14 points Biden loses not because he's a Democrat. But because he's an elderly 81 year old with dementia who has no business being in the Oval Office.

Democrats are delusional to think Americans are going to elect a rapidly declining man with severe cognitive and physical impairments to a second term. Biden will be 86. That's insane.

And it is not happening. After the debate, all the swing states were immediately lost. And now the map has expanded to include Virginia, New Jersey, Minnesota and other reliably blue states. It's going to be a landslide for Republicans.

Democrats have maybe two weeks to remove Biden from the ticket. I don't think it's possible to replace Biden with anyone else but Harris at this point. But with Harris, particularly if she picks a strong VP, there's at least a chance. With Biden there is none.

+1. I think she's fine, but the people who disliked Hillary will double dislike Harris. It's sad.

Sure but those same people might also like women like Whitmer, Haley, Tulsi. It’s a feature of the personality of those two women not women in general.

NP. What a coincidence that so many Americans always deem the women who have come closest to the presidency to be just not quite good enough. Hillary and Harris are smart, so “unlikeable” is their downfall. Haley Palin was ditzy enough to be “likeable” so the angle was that she’s stupid and trashy. Haley is apparently too ambitious. She’s also inauthentic because she’s an Indian Republican and a pro-life woman.

I wonder why there’s always some other woman that people like you would prefer, but the ones with the best shot turn you off somehow….

Did it feel good to write all that?

It's still not happening. Biden is not stepping down and he has pledged delegates on the first round of voting to secure the nomination. 14,000,000 people voted for him; a few hundred donors and Dem insiders are not going to override that.

Stop telling this stupid lie. It’s not convincing and makes you look sneaky. The option on most ballots was Biden or no one. That’s not a choice.

+1

Let the Republicans finish their convention and then announce the Biden replacement after that.

Not at all. Her pantsuits fit much better She's slimmer, taller, younger. That's for the idiots who think any of these things are important.
The key is that she's more competent than Biden, and anyone else!

The people who are criticizing Harris right now do not understand how the younger generation votes.

Can you forward this information to the DNC? They are trying to go forward with Biden when they need to face reality and change candidates.

Well then Democrats lose the White House. Not only the White House, but the Senate as well, and they're definitely not getting the House. I don't know who you're rooting for, PP, but you don't seem to grasp the lack of enthusiasm right now on the left for Biden and his lying and self-serving circle of aides. He's bringing the entire party down and that will register for all the elections, not just the Presidential one.

You can abandon all efforts now or you can push to switch the nominee and make a last stand.

You've got it backwards. It's the insiders who want Biden to stay in, because they've been in power too long thanks to him, and they want to continue. It's the outsiders, aka most of congress and the voters, who want Biden out.

I agree with you entirely.

I really hope Biden's close circle sees the light. They're clinging to power, not for the good of the country, but because they're drunk on power, and Biden is a convenient figurehead.

I don’t believe that for a second. There was supposed to be a red wave in 2022 that never happened. Don’t believe the polls. If the Rs had a moderate ticket, you have a point. But they have Trump/Vance which is dangerous. Most people are not voting for Biden, but for his administration and against Trump, who incited a riot and has broken laws, too many to list.

Right. So they made the choice to nominate him.

I’m not sure exactly what you are saying here. You’re suggesting I should theoretically withdraw my support for a conservative like Haley or a centrist like Tulsi in order to support someone with the “best shot”‘like Harris? Those women are in complete opposition to each other. I would absolutely vote for Haley for president and never in a million years would vote for Harris. I’m not voting simply for Harris because she has the best shot as a woman for president if our issues are diametrically opposed.

Who is Harris's hypothetical VP? It has to be a smart and charming white guy. Not too slick. Maybe a little good ole boy back slapper in his 40s to 60s. So, who?
