Everything we see today in MAGA is because we had a black president. One who the right lied about his religion, his birthplace and even the clothes he wore. He was vilified for 8 years, and detracted politically on the Hill. He came into office with ridiculous economic headwinds and managed to stabilize and slowly growth the economy. He left the country better than he found it. Unlike his successor, he has been married once, has kids with the same spouse, attends church and is otherwise a model citizen.

And yet, he and his family endured nothing but overt and subtle racism the entire time. Exactly how did HE cause more racism other than being black while president?

I don't want Trump to win, but a lot of Democrats are being way too confident that Biden will definitely win. The 2020 NC governors races suggest some vote switching will occur if Trump chooses a Black VP. In 2020 Incumbent NC Governor Cooper (D) got reelected with 51.5% of the vote. Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson (R) got 51.6% and he did not have incumbency advantage. In 2020 there were multiple NC counties with a large Black population where Democrats won for Governor, but Republicans won for Lieutenant Governor.

1) the polling supports Biden over any "generic" dem as well as any named dem including Newsome, Bashear, Whitmer, etc.
2) Why subject the party to "dems in disarray" at this time? The party is unified with a goal of defeating Trump. How would a new candidate get chosen and what is to say the blue dogs or progressives walk away as a result?

2) VP Harris is a former state AG, former Senator and will have had 4 years as VP. I get she is a woman and a woman of color, but she is no where close to a disaster.
