I noticed on the Fairfax county court website that she was arrested on Friday the 13th and the Arraignment was to be on the 16th but it was continued. Does that mean she still working out with her lawyer on the charges, etc? |
Why would you even post this? This thread is heavy on the contempt trolling. Brendan and Juliana are not the only twisted people in the DMV. PP, thanks for sharing some actual IRL numbers.
No, YOU have no idea of his finances, you are also just speculating. like other posters. It's not clear to anyone that he can afford to stay, he could be on the verge of bankruptcy for all we know and unless you are his accountant, that includes you. He could be living it up knowing a cage is likely in his future. We are all just guessing. Have you never heard of the concept of people living beyond their means? The good taxpayers of the state of VA are on the hook for Juliana Peres Magalhaes, hopefully that will include Brendan Banfield very soon. It's possible he would have relocated back to Long Island but was told to stay in the area, we have no idea. It's very likely that he is or soon will be on leave as an FBI agent, does that reality get past your smug know it all mindset? Not to mention, cough, unemployable in LE, cough. Do you see how mean and silly you are acting? It's like all the posters thinking he's pulling in $150k+ when a few years ago he was making $68k. Other people's IRL experiences have value too, not just your mean girl attitudes and everyone is speculating. How they could go about their lives, splurge on new cars, go out to dinner, having held a gun and killed a man in cold blood and having brutally stabbed your wife and the mother of your child to DEATH, you know, the likely co-owner of the house, is beyond me. |
If he's a new FBI SA, he's probably a GS-10. |
I don’t see how that’s likely. |
I think so, a news outlet said yesterday that she had not yet entered a plea. Hopefully the situation will exert some pressure for her to do the right thing/now linked to her best interests since she seems utterly lacking in morals. Can you imagine working in LE of all things, with Brendan Banfield, knowing all this and that he had refused to cooperate with authorities? It's his right but normal people can draw inferences. Would you want your life to be dependent on someone like that in a dangerous LE situation? Joe Ryan has been wrongly smeared as a deflection, he is a MURDER VICTIM and LE has been unequivocal in calling him that since his untimely death. Joe and Christine should both be here, enjoying this nice fall weekend. My heart goes out to his mother, her interview was hard to listen to, but a very needed perspective. Juliana and Brendan seemed to genuinely believe they could just go about their lives, going out, etc. Makes me wonder what other viciousness and cruelty they have displayed? That poor child, think of the scene she could have walked in on, that experienced LE termed horrific. Hopefully some extended family with moral compasses can give her love and guidance and mute any influence Banfield may have had. Losing her mom at the hand of her father is a trauma that will be very hard to overcome. Tits and a Tesla are all some care about and I think the thrill probably was a factor too. So many Robert Wone vibes including the very tight timeline. I hope Joe and Christine get more justice than his widow did. Btw., an acquaintance who went to W&M said that Joe Price and Victor are back in the DMV. How nuts is that? |
What is your theory, PP? Very tight time frame. Joe was a big guy, very fit and martial arts trained. He was also someone said to be protective of women and who would have fought hard for his life, and for Christine's, if able to. Brendan Banfield leaves for work..then what? |
I wonder if Christine had ever expressed fear of Brendan to anyone? Could he really have masked his true nature that well? As a former victim advocate did she ignore her own instincts or think that only happened to "other" people? Did she keep any concerns on the down low due to his LE job and clearance?
Once Brendan is behind bars (hopefully soon) will be interesting to hear the vibes neighbors got from him. From his social media he seemed cold and tightly wound to me, but few can imagine people being capable of what Brendan and Juliana have done. Both may have experienced great trauma in childhood, it's typical for violent killers, yet look at the childhood Brendan has given his own child. Utterly chilling. |
BB has been paid continuously since the murders. He’s on an administrative leave, we’re all footing this mortgage |
BB is IRS not fbi |
I could be wrong, but I thought he used to be irs and then switched to fbi. |
So true. I won $100k in a lawsuit right as I graduated college in 1994. No one but immediate family knew. |
There are so many aspects of this case and situation that are just shocking. How depraved do you have to be to be able to live in that house after you were responsible for someone being brutally stabbed there (with body moved) and someone else being shot multiple times and dying there?
How does this work - who cleans up this mess? Some sort of professional company? And then do BB and AP just walk around and live in the areas in the house where poor Christine and Joe were mortally wounded? Who does that?!?? I hope justice is served and BB and AP are locked up for a very long time. |

A possible scenario:
Husband is having affair with AP and knows that it will be too costly to get a divorce b/c he doesn't want to lose half of his pension and sell the house. He wants to have the AP, but doesn't want to pay the price of a divorce. He encourages wife to have her own extra-curricular activities so that he can justify his relationship with AP. Husband and wife have an understanding that they will each do their own thing with their own partners. Husband knows AP will have to go back and he's tired to having the wife around anyway. So, he decides to set up a scenario where he stabs the wife to death, then arranges for the AP to frame the boyfriend.... in a way that they are both dead and it looks like one killed the other. Husband kills the wife, arranges for boyfriend to come over and find her. AP is ready and waiting to shoot the boyfriend as he checks on the non-responsive wife. AP shoots boyfriend, then is supposed to put the gun in the deceased wife's hand -- making it look like the wife shot the boyfriend as he was trying to stab her to death. That's why the AP was calling 911 and saying that her friend was hurt. Apparently AP couldn't or wouldn't put the gun into the scene of death. So, husband had to call 911 to say that he shot someone as though it was an intruder. You know that as a law enforcement officer, husband was figuring out a way to make this look like a murder/self-defense situation. And basically, it comes down to money... men who want to divorce their wives, but don't want to share the assets. So, they decide the way to keep all their money/pensions/assets is to kill off the wife. It's not the first time this type of scenario has been in the news (although their usually isn't a boyfriend involved). |
