Because this kind of information isn’t something that should be made public for national security reasons. Biden only shared it because someone at DOJ leaked it to the media.

The only reason there are national security issues is because Biden apparently wallpapers his house with the President's Daily Brief.

The DOJ didnt start handling it (eg, searching for more documents) until this weekend. They have had months. So, public knowledge is what led to the documents being secured and protected.

Upon looking through a timeline, it appears that the DOJ actually never did a search and instead relied on Biden's personal attorneys, who are not cleared, to conduct the searches. So it's worse than I initially understood. They appear to be just waiting for whatever Biden's counsel feeds them.

The facts are there are lots of obamaworld and clintonworld Dems who seethe at biden’s success.

He’s objectively a better potus than Obama by far. I don’t think people quite have grasped the chasm between 2010 vs 2022 performance…Obama sunk Dems for a generation.

Biden has much better foreign policy (no way does Obama conduct Ukraine operations like this or pulled out of Afghanistan)

Biden speaks to rust belt voters way better

Obama sidelined Biden in 2016 and in 2020 he and his team were first enamored by Beto (confirmed in Jon Allen, “lucky”)

Obamaworld/clintonworld has always viewed Biden as stupid, uncultured, kinda white trashy etc

It boils them that history will judge biden’s record better than Obama’s - the further you leave 08-15, the more Obama’s biggest accomplishment was being black in the White House.

I dont think Biden was set up. As in, I think he took the documents, either by accident or on purpose. But, the way this information has been released, document and location, with 4 different announcements, seems designed to inflict maximum harm.

You are clearly not a person who has worked is a security environment to think that the United States Secret Service could be involved in this. There are members of the SS who have all types of political views and they are left at home at ALL times. However that is not even the point. Having a clearance would not have given any SS officer access to documents. Clearances are required but each classified document is accessed on a need to know basis. It would be implausible that an agent would know which documents to take and plant or have access to those documents. It is outside mission parameters for them to even handle these documents. They would have to coordinate with the office of the vice president to pull this off. That would be highly unlikely.
