Well, delivery drivers for you I guess. It's endemic at this point. We're close to as good as it gets. Hopefully you're not holding back your kids from living their lives, though... |
I really hope you're able to go to physical and mental health specialists to get the help you need. If not for you, at least for your kids who might never recover from the isolation you are unnecessarily subjecting them to. |
Similarly, we don't know who's going to get in a car accident, or even accurately guess who will get cancer or die tomorrow from a heart attack. That's life. I've never seen people use that as an excuse not to live their lives. |
Pretty much a yea here still falls under substantial transmission. The bar is pretty low. We are all going to be masking in the DMV well into endemic status. |
+1. It’s so irresponsible for schools to even be open before the kid’s are vaccinated. They should have set a January timetable for opening once kids could get their two doses. There have been at least a dozen cases at our ES since September and thankfully none have required hospitalization that I know of but that’s luck more than anything and not sure that’s true once you talk about everyone else they may have spread to. |
Is there still a school system in the country or world that's still doing virtual as the standard? Or were you thinking that MCPS could have been that district batsh#t insane enough to consider it? Not even they are that crazy clearly... |
Poe's Law strikes again! I really can't tell if posts like this are serious, or merely from people with serious anxiety disorders. |
We don't do delivery as its too expensive. We aren't as close to good as it gets. We'd be very close if selfish and entitled people like you would be more cautious. You'd have a lot to learn from my kids. |
Its good covid is going around and the kids are catching it. Makes it safer for the kids in virtual who are waiting out covid. You had the option to do virtual. You choose in person. Stop complaining. You can always homeschool or apply to virtual or pay for a private virtual program. The issue is the lack of testing, social distancing and behavior. However, MCPS, MoCo and Biden failed us and its all about politics and elections and not safety. And, the selfish parents who refuse to be cautious and don't care and those who send their kids to school sick. Thank them for being irresponsible and teaching their kids to be irresponsible by example. |
No one has a serious anxiety disorder except you. But, I think we can safely diagnose you as a narcist. However, its a silly comment as this poster had the same opportunity to apply for virtual as the rest of us and can at any time remove their child from in person. |
Hopefully, how to pull the escape cord on their 18th birthday. |
| I don’t know a single person who got sick from covid. Not a big deal even pre vaccine |
We're very close to being as good as it gets. Reported case numbers will drop, as more people gain immunity through infection or vaccination/boosters. More significantly, we'll see less testing, as vaccinated individuals aren't going to bother with testing for cold-like symptoms. Similarly, schools will end survellience testing to a large degree soon after kids are vaccinated. Hospitalizations will drop too, as people gain protective immunity or die trying. But COVID will still be out there, mostly harmlessly infected people who already have protective immunity. We're at that point now for people that choose to get vaccinated. But COVID will be just as dangerous a year from now to antivaxxers and anyone that stayed in their basement to avoid infection. |

C'mon. Up your troll game.
