I dip Ruffles potato chips into chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Kinda like dipping french fries in a Wendy's frosty, another pasttime of mine.

Of the things you listed, I could enjoy the occasional spread of Nutella (but on good quality bakery bread, not with whipped cream). And good quality cheese is delicious, to include some types of Brie. I also have a weakness for carbs. Micheles granola is a nice snack. I also enjoy good quality pizza and pasta (not stouffers and Kraft, as listed in this thread!!!). And I love Trader Joe’s peanut butter cups (but would find chocolate chips mixed into a tub of peanut butter too inferior). But I stand by my assertion that 99.9% of what’s in this thread is revolting.

Unfortunately, at almost 160 pounds I’m not a skinny health freak. I enjoy food way too much. But good food. Not disgusting, processed crap.

That’s kind of the point of the thread. I’m the Stouffers lasagna poster. I’m mostly a real food, limit processed items, cook from scratch person but…. Maybe twice a year when I’m not cooking for the family, I’m home alone with something fun on Netflix like Bridgerton, I crave the Stouffers lasagna, both for its ease and the taste profile that must remind me of my childhood (where again, it was babysitter night food - my mom is actually a really good cook)

I loved Stouffers lasagna as a kid. I'll have to try it again as an adult.

When DH is gone for a dinner or whatever I make baked chicken wings covered in buffalo sauce with blue cheese. Messy and amazing.

There used to be an Irish restaurant in a random strip mall in Alexandria that had good curry fries when I wanted some. Fiona’s. It’s now gone sadly.

You reminded me! Bread dough! Sometimes I sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar on it. But I love the yeasty tang.

And yes, my grandma did tell us that our stomachs would explode from eating it.

I should bake some bread, it's been a long time.....

The Irish Inn at Glen Echo does not have the curry chips but other irish classics such as shepherds pie and fish and chips …

It is very close to Virginia from both Chain Bridge and American Legion Bridge. Nice atmosphere and the manager is Irish so has many authentic touches … it has casual pub, relaxed al fresco and formal dining sections.

My dad makes one every holiday, along with the turkey/ham/salmon

In my house we almost always had leftover whipped cream in the fridge and I used to mix it with Hershey syrup and call it chocolate mousse and eat it after a school. I dreamed of opening a fancy restaurant and serving it.
