Did you think that was the point of my post? |
Lame. |
Also from the New Yorker...
“Senior Republican staffers also learned of the allegation last week and, in conversations with The New Yorker, expressed concern about its potential impact on Kavanaugh’s nomination. Soon after, Senate Repubs issued renewed calls to accelerate the timing of a committee vote" Now we know why Yertle the Turtle was so anxious to have the vote last week. |

Kavanaugh dragging his heels on calling it quits is a disservice to his family. |
Nope. Just using your post to segue into my own grousing about the lock Yale & Harvard seem to have on Supreme Court positions. (Lots of great legal minds elsewhere). |
“Extreme vetting” amirite |
I'm not the poster you responded to, but I think that when people say it's not credible they mean that there's not sufficient evidence to give it credibility. Not that the idea of something like this happening is implausible. |

You can’t complain an allegation is false, amd then resist any attempt at investigation. The reason the accusers are calling for an investigation is that they know there are other women who are not willing to go public but may talk to the FBI. And witnesses who can corroborate excessive drinking by Kavanaugh and what his personality was at those times. For the same reason, he is fighting it, |
He probably would have gotten through, but anyone that has a sordid, but reformed! background and also has a judicial philosophy that punishes people for similar mistakes is a problem. |
Wonder if Davis is still “unfazed”? |
Seriously. And the email corroborates another part of the New Yorker article - where Judge admitted to a woman that he engaged in these acts. |
Yeah. Wow. |
Ed Whelan is frantically mapping the Yale campus common rooms right about now.
Kavanaugh is searching for his freshman year “calendar” for red letter days. Trump’s about ready to fire off another attack on another woman. Here we go again. |
