wow, what a stupid post.

+1. I guess PP doesn’t remember that the House was voting in Clinton’s impeachment while he and his family were lighting the White House Christmas Tree.

And Clinton's popularity went up dramatically after the impeachment.

The question is whether citizens regard impeachment for lying under oath about a blowjob as being significantly different from impeachment for using national security money to pay a foreign government to interfere in our elections.

You may not like hearing this but most Americans don't give a crap about this for two reasons: first, they believe the entire process is partisan and second, they hear about Hunter Biden making out like a bandit - even if it was legal - and they realize that the system is fundamentally corrupt.

And yet, they voted for one of the corrupted system's biggest practitioners and beneficiaries in Trump.

And who is even talking about Biden's son? FoxNews? Get a better news source. That isn't important right now - at all.

I just can’t watch the parade of Republicans shamelessly spewing the same damn lies. It’s sickening.

And while the impeachment farce goes on which will end up with Trump remaining president, McConnell is just moving along and confirming conservative judges ..........

McConnell’s schedule to confirm are Matthew McFarland for the Southern District of Ohio; Anuraag Singhal for the Southern District of Florida; Karen Marston for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania; Daniel Traynor for the District of North Dakota; John M. Gallagher for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania; Bernard Maurice Jones II for the Western District of Oklahoma; Mary Kay Vyskocil for the Southern District of New York; Kea Whetzal Riggs for the District of New Mexico;Lewis J. Liman for the Southern District of New York; Gary Richard Brown for the Eastern District of New York; Robert J. Colville for the Western District of Pennsylvania; Jodi Dishman for the Western District of Oklahoma; Stephanie Dawkins Davis for the Eastern District of Michigan, Bloomberg reported.

Now what will have a more long lasting impact? The impeachment charade or lifetime appointment of conservative judges?

McConnell v Schumer ........ I'd put my money on McConnell any day of the week. He knows how to play hardball ........

Are you saying that it impeaching would have slowed the confirmation of judges?

I am saying that while the Democrats are spinning their wheels in a pointless impeachment charade, McConnell is focused on a long lasting conservative legacy.

It is Trump's abuse of power and corruption that will have the longest lasting impact. The Republican Party has been a kleptocracy network domestically for decades, but Trump, with McConnell's blessing, is making the kleptocracy the basis of U.S. foreign policy and undermining the standing and authority of the U.S. globally.

Half of America does not find it pointless. In any case the two are not related.

Johnson of OH calls for a minute of silence...because the GOP has nothing to say.

Of course, this is after he says that impeachment is 'disenfranchisement'.

John Lewis was moving, as always. I can just imagine the Trumpkins smirking at his passion.

Impeachment is not a charade. All those who claim it is should just come out and say, I don't care about our system of government because Trump is giving me something I want. Just like Ann Coulter had the guts to say, I don't care about his repulsive personality because he is building a wall.

Just say it. Admit you don't care about the system of checks and balances or about having a morally corrupt president in office as long as you get some things you want.
