What’s even funnier is this is a thread about info on merging two clubs. And folks talking about which age groups were good. And then Arlington parent who’s team generally lose to those age groups trying bash people talking about which teams are are good.

Valor is going to fail because they really thing they can carry 3-4 teams. Playing CCL and no option for something better isn’t going to cut it.

I'm an Arlington parent who has pointed out that Arlington doesn't play top team players on its second teams (although I'm not the only one who has made that point on this thread) - but I'm not the poster who initially suggested that SYA's team wasn't a top team. I don't care one way or the other about whose team is better - but I do care about people claiming Arlington is behaving in a way that they are not. That is just wrong and not fair to the club which is actually - in my several years' experience - very well behaved about such things.

What age group? The problem is did does happen at specifc age groups, generally boys. And if you claim it doesn’t happen in your club then you are obivious.

No I'm not oblivious. And no it doesn't happen at every club. It happens at some clubs. My DS has played at three clubs and only one of them did this. Clubs that do it, typically do it fairly frequently and at multiple age groups. And when a team needs ringers the call goes out for volunteers so everyone knows what's going on.

. Did you miss the part of one of my kids being a former Arlington player. Yes we did it. So again oblivious.

No I didn't miss it. I believe you are the SYA fanboy pretending to be an ex-Arlington parent and making a false confession. Let's face it your narrative has collapsed, and you're pathetically repeating your lies.
yep you got me. No one ever leaves Arlington. Well
Unless you are on ECNL team. Which is the only good squad there

I'm sure people leave Arlington, so you're lying again. You can't help yourself - lies just drip from your mouth. It's certainly true that the ECNL squads are good. They also don't play for the red teams.

well we both know you don’t have a kid in ECNL then. You don’t understand roster limitations and many to programs borrow ECNL kids to play down. But I digress. Keep winning with other teams kids. Just what youth soccer is about.

dude just leave the parent alone. They obviously have no insight to the programs. Yes kids who enjoy soccer and coaches that want to win borrow the best.

Now you're lying to yourself. I realize a lot of people do it, but most kind of do it silently inside their own head. You actually post messages backwards and forwards to yourself on a message board.

Good thing they have redemption, going to qualifiers. Auto bid

How did redemption work out for you? 🤦🏻‍♂️ Face it SYA Boys program has gone downhill since coach Jon and coach Dean left. Real shame as they both had some good teams.

What is/was redemption? And what happened to SYA?

Jon was a great coach! SYA 07s as good as ever though. Josh is going to have a great squad next season . As will Kieran.

Lost 2-0 to Burke. Goal on a corner kick. And 2nd goal offside but uncalled.

I don't get it. It looks like they lost on penalties in the round of 16. Did they somehow get let back into the tournament and get to play them again?

Are you not allowed to score from a corner kick? It’s not u11 buddy. What would happen to them vs a proper ECNL team.

didn’t say that at all. But this team has beaten multiple ECNL teams. The team has multiple kids who came of DA teams prior to Covid. Team will be stacked next year. Unlike other clubs they play up in tournaments. Arlington likes the soccer points playing down a bracket.

Burke's obviously a strong team. Should be interesting to see how well they do against the remaining three teams which are the three top ranked teams in the state. If they can beat them then that would be a real achievement.

Sounds like an SYA win would have been a fairer result then?
