Well, my community at LAMB is unparalleled and I’ve taken to giving up on the people who deny what happened and focusing my attention on those that support me because they are amazing.

We can have a strong community and we can believe that the school made major mistakes that hurt children and that that needs to be addressed. The two are not mutually exclusive. In fact, the push for accountability and change has been driven by the community.

LAMB can be compared to a regime, where faces may change but the fundamental ideas will always stay. If there was any good faith efforts by the board to do their job and hold people accountable Diane would have been on leave since Feb of last year and officially fired before June 2017. Instead she's hanging around under the excuse of Kingsbury transition.

I'm glad my kid goes to a regular, pretty good DCPS with a no-nonsense hard working principal with no minions (that I know of). Sometimes less is more.

Totally sickening and depraved- every admin at LAMB with knowledge all along should be fired and put in jail. What a horrifying story, I read the whole legal brief. Bowser has done a shot job overseeing not just DCPS but all aspects of public ed.
