Please let me know VCI 126 96 % Superior Perceptual 127 96% Superior Working memory index 110 75% High average Processing speed Index 123 97% superior GBRS 15 What chances my dc will have on appeal 5th grade in fall Thanks What was the FISQ? !29 percentile 97 |
GBRS is high, but WISC is mediocre. 50:50 chance... I think. |
I agree. If WISC is the new information, it would be helpful to know the other test scores that were submitted in the original screening file. |
I think you'll get in. |
I second that. Two years ago, my kids got in on appeal with a Full Scale of 129 and a GBRS of 12. |
Write a letter explaining why you see your child as needing AAP with examples of behaviors that illustrate your point. |
We have included a parent letter in the original screening file, but wondering if we are allowed to add another parent letter in the appeals file. Anyone with answers? |
We added a second parent letter with the appeal a few years ago. We explained why we believed our DC could not be served at the base school. |
Please let me know

I think you're on the edge. VCI is quite low, and carries the most weight. GBRS 10 is also well below the norm for center eligibility. In my opinion, there is a less than 50-50 chance. |
agreed. a VCI of 114, 82%, doesn't scream i need this program. overturning a 10 GBRS seems hard to do. good luck. |
+1 (or would that be +2 to 14:41?) |
