What are the chances on appeal??

You score does not meet the bench mark, chances are not very good. My child has WISC full scale -- 134 - very superior GBRS 10, was not eligible.

Thanks for your advice. So did you try again this year?

Your score IS good enough. Get someone to write a letter.

Verbal Comprehension Score 110
Perceptual Reasoning Score 141
Working Memory Score 113
Processing Speed Score 112

Full Scale Score 126
General Ability Index 130

Does my child has a chance on appeal based above score?

I have seen otherwise. It is good enough, in fact it is excellent. Back it up with something else tough. Work samples.

The test gives you a lot of information. For example my daughter was Very Superior and Superior in 3 out of 4 tests. Her PSI (processing speed) was only Above Average. I think that score is less important as an
Above Average Verbal Index Score. I hope that helps.

I think a lower processing speed is normal for gifted children. Compared to the rest of the scores.

I believe the PP was referring to all the test scores/GBRS as a package resulting in no Center eligibility, and thus the parent is appealing the decision and redoing the WISC.

A GBRS of 8 is hard to overcome.

WISC score of lower to mid 130 easily nullify it.
