Don't you fund it just a tad bit curious that he lived in the US for over 10 years, yet is unable to speak English? Yet, he was able to get a driver's license - he is expected to read and follow ENGLISH traffic signs. He must not be terribly intelligent if he hasn't learned a working knowledge of English in 10 years. |
Plane to Uganda? I wonder why it hasn’t hit the news yet. |
How can that be? 18:03 says they work at BWI and saw him escorted onto a plane this morning. |
Bots and liars. https://www.thebanner.com/national/kilmar-abrego-garcia-ice-trump-4CLCWXNVPNHSTM36CIVEO25BPQ/ And from another article: ABREGO GARCIA UPDATE! JUDGE IN ABREGO GARCIA MATTER ORDERS THAT ADMINISTRATION IS "FORBIDDEN" TO REMOVE HIM FROM THE U.S. This just in: During a hearing this afternoon Judge Xinis made *extremely* clear to the government: "Your clients are absolutely forbidden at this juncture to remove Mr. Abrego Garcia from the continental United States. That is the understanding that we have?" (In other words, "Do you understand?") To which the administration lawyer responded "Your honor, yes. We certainly understand that." Judge Xinis also observed that threatening someone that unless they pleaded guilty to something - "assuring" them a deportation to a relatively benign place (Costa Rica) - that they would be deported to somewhere very dangerous was "unconstitutional" and did not sound like due process. |
DP. You don’t need to know English to get a drivers license. Most or all states provide accommodations such as driving license tests in a variety of languages. I’ve known a lot of immigrants over the decades, including European ones, who spoke very very little English. Most had very basic education in their home country and were just too busy making a living to take language classes. What I do find very curious however is why Melania Trump, who has been in the US since 1996 so almost 30 years, speaks such poor English. You would think with all that money, at some point, she would’ve hired an English language tutor to come to her home and give her private lessons. Given that she was on TV before she even married Trump giving interviews, you would think she would’ve wanted to strengthen her language skills. And if not then, surely after becoming First Lady. |
Wait 12 hours, you’ll see you are wrong. He’s not in VA |
You do realize that an accent is not the same thing as being able to converse and speak in the language? My hairdresser has been here many years from Vietnam. She has a great vocabulary and is well read--but I have a hard time understanding her because of her accent. There are a lot of people who have command of the English language who have heavy accents. But, Abrego Garcia would have helped his PR had he spoken himself rather than through a spokesperson. Not a good look. |

Kilmar is a CRIMINAL. |
He hasn’t been found guilty of any criminal charges in a court of law. Our president, on the other hand, was found guilty of 34 felony charges in one trial and found liable for sexual abuse and defamation in another trial. |
Why can’t they prove that then? |
Why can’t he just go to Spain? |
Because you can’t just go somewhere and demand to stay. There are laws against it and other countries enforce those laws. |
| Per federal law, appeals of immigration court decisions must go to an appeals court. This judge does not have authority to hear this case. |
| They speak Sawhili in Uganda. Since he can't speak English very well, he going to have a hard time in Uganda. |
Yup. Despite being willing to bribe people to get him convicted, despite constantly quoting unreliable informants and police officers, despite constant lying, he has in fact not been found guilty of anything. Unlike Donald Trump, who is a convicted criminal and felon. Is Uganda too good for him? And to the PP who kept saying he saw KAG get on a plane, implying that he was already on his way to Uganda, what a stupid lie, liar. As if we didn't know MAGA was untrustworthy. |
