🎶Guess who just got an all inclusive one way trip to Uganda?🎶 https://www.wsj.com/us-news/law/kilmar-abrego-garcia-deport-uganda-eb146949?st=6Tve5n&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink
You are a sick person.
DP. Sure. In your warped mind anyone who believes in enforcing our immigration laws is sick.
The biggest difference between you and me isn't our position on Trump or Kilmar. It isn't even our critical thinking skills. Its that I believe in, and I will work to defend, the rule of law. I believe in the Constitution and due process. I believe in democracy. I believe that even the person with the darkest soul, who has committed the worst crimes, has rights. Even if I could send Stephen Miller to Uganda, I would not because it would go against everything this country stands for.
I believe in the rule of law and the Constitution as well. This guy has had his due process. He was ordered deported in 2019. That is democracy and our laws in action. If you are not against illegal immigration, then you are not for our rule of law.
You people are so tiresome. We cant keep repeating the facts. In any case, first he gets to sue Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, Marco Rubio and Trump for alm the pain and suffering as well as the many ways they went against the rule of law.
LOL. He'll need to get better attorneys to do that. His current attorney is grasping at straws. Maybe he can get Chris Van Hollen to represent him. [twitter]https://x.com/PaulDMauro/status/1959715079416627294[/twitter]
I know this is probably way too complicated for your smooth brain to handle but let me try…. Spanish (the native language of Kilmar) is not commonly spoken in Uganda hence he does not speak the language. Spanish is commonly spoken in the USA by so many citizens that we regularly offer translations in spanish at government facilities like the MVA.
Don't you fund it just a tad bit curious that he lived in the US for over 10 years, yet is unable to speak English? Yet, he was able to get a driver's license - he is expected to read and follow ENGLISH traffic signs. He must not be terribly intelligent if he hasn't learned a working knowledge of English in 10 years.
DP. You don’t need to know English to get a drivers license. Most or all states provide accommodations such as driving license tests in a variety of languages. I’ve known a lot of immigrants over the decades, including European ones, who spoke very very little English. Most had very basic education in their home country and were just too busy making a living to take language classes. What I do find very curious however is why Melania Trump, who has been in the US since 1996 so almost 30 years, speaks such poor English. You would think with all that money, at some point, she would’ve hired an English language tutor to come to her home and give her private lessons. Given that she was on TV before she even married Trump giving interviews, you would think she would’ve wanted to strengthen her language skills. And if not then, surely after becoming First Lady.
You do realize that an accent is not the same thing as being able to converse and speak in the language? My hairdresser has been here many years from Vietnam. She has a great vocabulary and is well read--but I have a hard time understanding her because of her accent. There are a lot of people who have command of the English language who have heavy accents. But, Abrego Garcia would have helped his PR had he spoken himself rather than through a spokesperson. Not a good look.
