Ward 4 Election

Who on earth put this event together? It should be a local political journalist, of which we have many.

I wouldn't have showed up either, what a scam.

Janeese never even pretended to give a shit about crime until Lisa jumped in the race

Who gives a 5hlt? Lisa had her chance to take on the queen and she got scared like a coward. If Lisa can't even bother taking on her opponent when she has her chance, then her policy positions are irrelevant.

Time to grow up, Lisa.

OK Janeese. You're repeating yourself .

Interesting, as was her behavior in not showing up in person for the Secure DC vote, and leaving early...

Does she have a big family or something? I don't mind if individuals take an interest in DC politics, but if some group from San Francisco (example-fill in any group) is meddling in DC politics, and Janeese accepts the money, that telegraphs a lot to me as a resident about 'who' she represents.

87% of contributions from dc.

She missed SOME of the session bc both her husband and father was in surgery but still voted. Don't get your news from online pseudo accounts

I'm not sure what the opinion of anonymous Internet trolls has to do with her keeping her job. Your echo chamber is going to prove to be unimportant.

There was another armed robbery spree throughout Ward 4 last night with hits on military road and elsewhere.

Thankfully, and despite JLG’s continued effort to undermine their work, MPD arrested one of the suspects today.

They try so hard though!

If we can recall Charles Allen and defeat Janeese Lewis George in the June primary, that will go a long way towards fixing our crazy and completely out of touch city council.

All those unanimously passed bills will still pass unanimously. I know it sucks to hold minority views, but whatever you hope to be fixed won’t happen by replacing JLG or with Lisa Gore and then having Ward 6 vote in whatever Charles Allen clone the Ward 6 Dems will put forward

Oh okay I get it. If it is bad, then we should lay that at the feet of JLG. If it is good, then clearly it happened in spite of her being present on this planet.

Makes sense. Let's call it the JLG-centric Theory of the Bad-verse. You read it first on DCUM, folks!

When you have a leader who is explicitly anti-police, it is no surprise that armed crime sprees become a weekly commonplace in Ward 4.

This is quite possibly the dumbest and least nuanced thing I've read today. But the day is young and I'm sure you'll try to top it.

It's just not fooling anyone.
