Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
As a parent, I am split - I thought the endless calls by the MCEA to keep kids in virtual learning for 18 months as very harmful. However, this school year was a catastrophic failure of Dr. McKnight and Central Office to plan for a surge. It also seems to be a corporate culture in MCPS to ignore the needs of students, take care of their own, and retaliate against anyone who complains of a problem. What gets lost is the idea of treating people fairly and doing what’s best for the child. I think it took a lot for teachers and school administrators to cast a vote of no confidence in someone was destined to be named Superintendent. If the MCEA named a non-incumbent for their Apple Ballot, I would highly consider voting for that candidate after the disasters of January 2022. |
What sources do you have that relayed her school choice? How do you know she's sending her kids to private? St. Anselm's is for 6th-12th grade and her son is 11. Stop the trolling |
