Yes, exactly. She doesn’t have that which makes beautiful people untouchable; natural born beauty. A normal woman cannot compete with Angelina Jolie’s beauty and the wealth, status and privilege her beauty has brought her. But any average woman can look even better than SJP, with the right trainer, makeup artist and oodles of money. Hence the anger at her wealth and status as a fashion/ beauty icon. Women like her aren’t supposed to get opportunities reserved for the beautiful.

This thread is bizarre. I simply do not understand what you people must be smoking to have such virulent criticism for someone you don't know. This is demonstrably false. You're attempting to give off the impression that, opinions are evenly split when it comes to her look, they're not .

Very few people are universally considered beautiful or ugly. Even celebrities.
I happen to think Brad Pitt is and always was ugly. My closest male friend (who is straight) thinks Salma Hayek is “a dog”. I have tons of examples of wide disagreement among friends about a famous person’s looks. Even I have been called “the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen” and “kind of mean looking” by different people in the same day.
And sometimes one person can be both beautiful and ugly in different situations. I think SJP is generally unattractive but there were moments in SATC when I found her beautiful. I’ve heard people say the same about Lady Gaga.

I’ve been told that I look like SJP, and I’m sorry she’s really not good looking. When she was young she had youth in her side plus nice skin, nice teeth and nice hair. Now she has perfect grooming on her side but objectively she has a long face, a long rather large nose and small eyes. If you find that attractive great! There’s hope for people like me that share similar features!
