Carrie Bradshaw is extremely pretty in Jewish cultures. She has a very distinguishable Jewish look -- the big nose, the face shape, the shorter stature (petite).

As an example, maybe many people don't find Will Smith attractive but he is very attractive. He just has a specific black look to him such as his wider nose.

Or maybe people don't find Lucy Liu attractive but she has specific Asian look such as smaller eyes.

She and her husband are both spectacularly fugly. If she's presumably some big 'prize' in ashkenazi jewish circles, then bless their hearts, they're clearly accustomed to so much ugliness that anything with decent make up who isn't overweght is looked at as some prize.
