Very few people are universally considered beautiful or ugly. Even celebrities.  
I happen to think Brad Pitt is and always was ugly. My closest male friend (who is straight) thinks Salma Hayek is “a dog”. I have tons of examples of wide disagreement among friends about a famous person’s looks. Even I have been called “the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen” and “kind of mean looking” by different people in the same day. 
And sometimes one person can be both beautiful and ugly in different situations. I think SJP is generally unattractive but there were moments in SATC when I found her beautiful. I’ve heard people say the same about Lady Gaga. [/quote]
