Only one of her counter-claims was successful and that wasn't even against Depp but his agent and was for only $2M.

Furthermore, in the court of public opinion, I don't think Depp has ever been more popular. She, though....I don't think she's going to have many opportunities going forward.

No. Any decent human thinks he’s a POS after this.

The campaign online to clear Depp is just another form of MAGA in this country.

Like literally…when you’re a star, they let you do it - here - the “it” is beat your wife.

Completely unsurprised by the disgusting Pieces of Sh!T that surround us here in the good ol’ USA!

He didn't beat his wife.

The UK court found he did.

So many things wrong with this verdict. Can we start our own separate thread. I need to get away from the Marjorie Taylor Greene’s in this thread. Ya know the women that try so hard to be a guy’s type of girl. Probably normalizes being slapped around. Pumps out 6 kids just to keep her man around. Loves little d*cks and big guns. I expected they’d both receive damages that would null each other out. But to clearly state that she lied is crazy.

DP. I'm about as anti-MTG as you can get. My DD and I have been protesting in front of the Supreme Court Justices' houses these last few weeks, among other things. I also experienced/witnessed horrific abuse growing up in my family of origin. Substance abuse, mental disorders, suicide, etc. run amuck in my family tree. Johnny Depp is no prize and I wouldn't wish him on anyone as a life partner. Yet, Amber Heard is no victim. I recognize a lot of her behaviors and, regardless of the verdict, I can't un-see them.

Are you always an hour late
Heard it right way, witch but nobody posted it here before I did so I thought I would. It’s hard to believe that with all that people write on hear with analysis of the case and actual thoughts and opinions, you took the time to write that. Are you bored? Husband not paying attention to you? Do better.

The right verdict.

Signed, a liberal feminist me-too supporting woman who thinks Amber used the me-too movement to up her notoriety and has now had it rightfully backfire in her face.

I think justice was served. She used the publicity machine to defame him with malice. If she wasn’t married to him no one would have cared. At least not the big media. She played a rough hand and she lost.

It was a win for men everywhere who are falsely accused of something.

Heard said in a statement she is "heartbroken" over the verdict.

"The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I'm heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband," Heard said.

That's her story and she's sticking to it! It was all because of Depp's sway, despite a "mountain of evidence." SMH.

Are you kidding? People did post it and discuss it before you. Do better.

I don't think this was the right result and I'm worried that Coulter is already saying this is the en of the me too movement blah blah blah. I hope for Heard that maybe this at least makes some people less angry at her and more annoyed with Depp? Not sure that's likely.

I believed her, mostly.

Depp texted: "Let's drown her before we burn her!!! I will (expletive) her burnt corpse afterwards to make sure she's dead."

"I, of course, pounded and displayed ugly colors to Amber on a recent journey," Depp said in a text message to a friend, the actor Paul Bettany, in July 2013, which was shown to jurors.

"I am an insane person and not so fair headed after too much of the drink," Depp continued. "Weed, pills ... Fine!!! Booze??? My capacity is too large and I won't stop ... Ugly and sad ... Oh, how I love it."

Guilty of defamation and abuse are two wholly different things.

The Johnny stans conveniently ignore his history of truly nasty behavior.
