Meghan Markle and Prince Harry News and Updates Part 4

Honestly I think a lot if not all of this has been orchestrated by William. Kate is not intelligent enough nor does she seem to have the emotional depth. Speaking of long term relationships, besides her sister, does she have any friends? I’ve never heard of any of Kate’s friends speaking up. The only friend I’ve heard mentioned was the one having the affair with William. Sounds like a good friend. William seems to have lots of girlfriends though….

I feel sad for her actually. Her husband is getting away with everything and throwing her (and his brother and sister in law) under the bus because he knows the three of them are far better at being a royal than he is. Kate is beautiful and seems like a great mom, too bad she has such horrible taste in men.

It's amazing what tales of royal woes you are capable of spinning with nothing but your imagination. Kate's friends stay her friends precisely because they never, ever speak to anyone.

I don't know why you think Kate should care about her sister- and brother-in-law. She has cast her lot with William and she's staying on that path. Growing stronger every year.

Again with the lack of self awareness. Do you actually read what you write?

The British are some stalkers. There's another article that all but says they're never letting Harry go and they're fighting for him. Like spurned lovers.

“Meghan is playing to an American audience, but her husband is a prince of the realm and will always have a British audience. He can leave this country physically, but he never leave this country in terms of media coverage. Because of who he is, he will always be a news story. For them to go around destroying relationships with the British press may not have much of an effect on her, but it will have a profound effect on him. He has an audience here and people care about him.”

Oh please. Kate let that circulate for TWO YEARS. Knowing that it was just inciting hatred against Meghan for a 'crime' she didn't commit. That it was actually Kate who was fault. Not only was it leaked by a 'palace source' - meaning someone under Kate and William's purview - they let it stand while correcting all sorts of trivial nonsense about Kate's mother, sister, and William's lunch affairs.

Not to mention deliberately letting a negative story grow about another woman's wedding just because s/he couldn't stand how popular she was with the public.

Miserable b**ch.

We only have the word of a proven liar for this alleged story about Kate.

Mmhmm, after her pet rota let that lie grow for years with whispers. Recall - they admit there's secrets only one reporter, Kate/William, and the media publisher knew. Someone leaked and it was first or the third.

Her friends and family don't speak to the press because they have tact. Something Meggie's so-called friends and family clearly don't have.

What would they speak to the press about? How one paper called Kate's coat-dress fuchsia when its clearly aubergine? Please.

Pet rota here - I can be convinced its all William. Everyone knows the married-ins have very little power and if Kate was going against anything Wills wanted she would be out the door on her bum like every other spouse of a Windsor since the 1980s. I don't necessarily think it takes intelligence to be catty and mean - especially considering a woman with Kate's background whose only focus for years was landing an esteemable boyfriend and keeping him. That takes balls - the female kind.

Anyway, she did try to oust the head of the Turnip Toffs and got her ass handed to her on a platter because Rose Cholmondeley, like Wills new girlfriend, is the bluest of blue bloods. Being a commoner of birth in England is no joke and not something you can 'live down'.

I halfway think that's why William picks women like Rose and Sofia. It amuses him because he knows there's not a thing Kate can do or say against those women. And he certainly didn't orchestrated a hit against his own mistress. He would have preferred that her name been kept secret.

Beyond that - yes, she's a good mom. Its all she does and I hope her kids appreciate that later in life if they don't now. As for William not being a good royal, he could be. He could be a great one, he's just lazy.

Lol, what an imagination you have. Actually Kate has the most power in this situation because William remembers too well how hated his father was for mistreating Diana. I mean do you think it's for nothing that the popular sentiment is in favor of bypassing Charles and passing the crown to William? Charles has never recovered in the public eye after Diana's disaster so let's leave this nonsense about married-ins having no power. William knows his reputation rests on being known as a family man so no, he wouldn't survive a marital crisis un-skewered.

Rose and Sofia stories are nothing but your imagination. And speaking of Rose, the bluest of all blue bloods didn't save her from having to marry a man 23 years her senior, who didn't marry her till they announced pregnancy, has a boyfriend and is rumored to spend most of his time in France. I mean I'd be looking outside the marriage too if I had to sleep with THAT. That's not exactly fairy tale material, is it.

Let's be real here. Charles didn't mistreat Diana. He cheated on her. Then he slandered her. William's already happily doing the former.

The royal, 39, was pictured leaving the upscale VIP bash around 7:30pm, flashing a brief smile as he got into his chauffeur-driven car before making his way back to Kensington Palace.

Also - glad to know we all agree the Cholmondeley marriage sucks. Here's a secret - so did the Parker-Bowles marriage as well. Although he was far less influential than David.

The Daily Fail, owned by billionaire Lord Rothermere, wants the Sussexs to invite Rothermere to tea to hash things out.

Good god, isn't tea with Wills + Kate enough? Leave them alone.

In general, it's a class thing. It's a way of being raised, similar to those who are reminded to not discuss money, politics, family problems or religion in public. Certainly not done on a TV show.

Meghan’s friends who have spoke to the press or publicly about her have spoken fiercely in her defense. And it’s completely nonsensical to blame Meghan both for her family’s attacks on her and also the fact that they’re attacking her. What a strange position and worldview to have.

The middle-class flight attendant and coal miner's daughter out-classes the Prince of Wales and Duke of York now?

Classism is so laughably out of vogue. It’s weird to now uphold that as some virtue. Yes, being inbred, racist, extremely passive aggressive and generally coddled is sooo cool. We should all aspire to be like the British upper class.

PP here. I wasn't referring to British aristocracy or anything racist. I know plenty of people and have taught many kids from homes without wealth or connections; but their parents, grandparents, aunts, or uncles etc have raised them in a way that reflects "class." They are definitely not any of the derogatory terms you used.

Charles and William are not in the same situation. Diana was beloved. BELOVED. Kate is fine. She is admired by a fair amount of the British public, but she is not adored like Diana was. Diana had a way making everyone feel like they knew her, and she knew and understood them in return. When Charles betrayed her, he betrayed them. Kate is perfectly well behaved but at the expense of not showing anything personal of herself. The public doesn't feel close to her, so they don't identify with her or feel protective of her.
