I’m sorry but Amber just wasn’t credible and juries don’t like to feel that they are being lied to. That whole Depp sexually assaulted with a bottle went too far…it just seemed like she was making up stuff.

Especially when contrasted to her recordings of what she complained to JD about at the time (wine being spilled on her). Camille Vasquez did a great job making that seem not credible.

So their analysis took into account the fact she did not tank his career on her own. If that had been what they found, the compensatory damages would have been much higher.

What statements did she make that specifically noted sexual or physical abuse? The op-Ed referenced abuse but didn’t specify.

She called herself a victim of abuse. The question about the identity of the abuser was up to the jury and they clearly think that she was accusing Depp
