You're kidding right? Meghan was well-known for visiting with homeless shelters her whole life.

While she was living in Toronto for seven years - she volunteered selflessly. The BRF just hated that she came in prepared to work.

Meghan Markle was an active supporter and volunteer of St. Felix Centre during her time living in the city while working on Suits. She volunteered on a regular basis in our kitchen as part of our Community Meals Program. The Duchess also donated food from the set of Suits, and on one Thanksgiving she brought in all the food, turkeys and the fixings for over 100 people.

I looked for a news article about this and didn't find anything. I found the pic on Twitter but that's a small market. She has definitely given up a wide media reach. Volunteering at a shelter or women's center is important but no more so as a duchess than as a regular nobody.

She had a large platform. Now she doesn't.
