Reminds me of my ex MIL who defended her son after she had learned that he verbally assaulted my mother at my son's school. He was screaming in front of the children and parents that she is a moron and an idiot and he was going to get her deported. Some mothers just don't ever want to face that they gave birth and raised monsters. I'm not saying it's their fault they turned out that way, but in my case, MIL was definitely an enabler.

Both parents are neck deep in denial. The couple was $10m in debt, their son was having an affair. It is highly unlikely that a pregnant mom arrived home at 2 am from a business trip then preceded to strangle her 3 & 4 year old. It's also highly unlikely that if he killed her out of anger b/c she killed the kids that he would have compelled to hide all 3 bodies and not just called police.

They don't want to think of their son as a quadruple murderer, so they're going to blame the victim.

The work girlfriend has come forward. She and the husband dated from July 2018 through Shanann's death in August 2018. Apparently he told her "he was close to finalizing his divorce from Shanann and planned to find a new apartment for him and his daughters".
