I agree with all of this. When they showed the clip of her dismissing Landon with the F#%$ off and the dismissive wave of her hand it just emphasized how frequently that is her go to phrase when people call her on things. She loves to do that hand wave/obscenity combo as the answer to everything. She's a nutter with substance abuse problems. I do feel very sorry for their children because dad's no better.
Cameron and Shep are the only sane ones. Shep may be a stunted frat boy, but he's smart and basically seems very nice if immature. Cameron is perfectly normal and I respect her for not getting more drawn into the TRav/ Katherine mess. She may be a bit boring as a result, but that's fine. I find her observations to be true and pretty funny. I am amazed at the number of people who defend Katherine. Can someone please share what you find her good qualities to be? It's not that I think she has some great qualities. I don't, really. But she's not so much worse than most of the rest of them and I don't like hypocrites, or people who are unkind to others. Kathryn is kind to no one. Cameran wasn't exactly a model of refinement when she was on Real World as a young 20-something. But Cameran didn't bring two lives into the world. If Kathryn was just in her 20s and acting stupid, I don't think anyone would have an issue with her. Landon is every bit as unemployed as Kathryn. But Landon is educated and could work. She was married and it didn't work out and now has to find her way. Landon is also not a druggie. She'll get her life together eventually. Kathryn is just getting by on her looks and high school education. Pat and Whitney are every bit as financially dependent on others as Kathryn (Pat "earned" her money through some strategic marriages, and Whitney is the beneficiary of her "talent"). I bet Pat wasn't at home tucking in wee Whitney every night, abstaining from alcohol and cooking his meals and giving him each bath. She gets a pass why? Because she has superior manners, because she managed to get married to a wealthy man before having his child, because her family could pay for "help" so that she could be a socialite attending parties while someone else tended her child? Pat was also a professor at GW. She lived the typical suburban mother life in McLean and ran her gallery in Georgetown. Literally, Pat is the polar opposite of Kathryn. Nothing wrong with strategic marriages. And Shep is every bit as sexually promiscuous as Kathryn and just as irresponsible with birth control. What do you mean Shep is irresponsible with birth control? Are you saying he has dozens of illegitimate children running around? And Thomas is every bit (if not more) unstable and addicted to substances. Actually, Thomas is not. Even if he is unstable or a drunk, he's managed to build some massive weath through his businesses. He's also educated. I tend to favor underdogs. I realize Kathryn made and continues to make bad decisions that have put her in the position she's in, but I don't think it's right to kick someone when they're down or to relish in someone else's collapse, even if your judgement of that person is being vindicated. That's just small, petty, and mean. There is nothing genteel about the way Pat, Whitney, JD, Landon, Cameran talk about Kathryn. She is a young 20-something who just had two babies in quick succession with a man who is mentally unstable, yet powerful and wealthy enough to carry through on his threats to ruin her life. Bad, bad choice, compounded by more bad choices on her part. But I have empathy for her. I was pretty dumb and irresponsible at her age. Not as dumb, nor as irresponsible. But still, I was no virgin tettotaller. If pot weren't illegal, I'd still partake. I have almost two decades of maturity on Kathryn, but I recognize that I may not have made the same choices I make now (such as forgoing illegal substances I once enjoyed for fear of jail and loss of custody) if I were single and hanging out with the circle of single partying friends I had at 20 and I had two nannies to leave the kids safely with for a night on the town. If Kathryn were independently wealthy (from family money) and more polished, or if she were a man, I don't think she's be subject to the same criticism as she is. All the criticism reads to me more like snobbishness/sexism rather than genuine concern for Kathryn, Thomas, or their kids. I don't think anyone has really said anything bad about Kathryn. Everything they have said has been truthful. The only part that hurts is where she's not invited to parties and events, and others avoid being around her. Everything they say - she's volatile, abusive, etc - is all true. |

At times in that video, he looked afraid of her. It sort of makes you wonder how she behaves when they are alone if she would act like that in public. |

He definitely appears to be showing more restraint than some men would in that situation. I think he's kind of scummy, but kudos to him for keeping his cool. |

Agree with the last pp. He does look bemused and absolutely loves making her lose her shit. I hope she eventually comes to learn this.
I'm completely over Cameron this season. She adds nothing to the show other than her "you need and I don't" garbage. To Craig- You need to take the bar. To Shep- You need to settle down. To Landon- You need to tell Shep you love him. To Thomas and Katherine- OMGawd I can't. The only contributions to the show about her incredibly boring life: -I don't ever cook. -I don't want a baby.-- ''it would be the worst thing ever and I would just die'' -- really she is 34, has a supportive family, a husband that loves her and actually wants children, a stable income. Yet, so much anxiety with nothing better to do then sit on a therapist's chair over it. Worst thing ever? Not cancer, not loss of a loved one, not anything actually serious but having a baby in the blessed situation she is in would make her want to die. Did she not think of this before she got married to someone who wanted kids?  Get over yourself girl, pop that bubble.
-I don't like drama. -- Seriously, why is she on reality TV then?? She has more entitlement delusions then Shep, Whitney and Thomas combined. (Maybe not more than Landon  )

| She was honest with her husband about how she felt. Why does she have to have a baby? Just because you can afford to have one does not mandate that you have a child. While it is not my choice, I applaud her for being honest and weighing all the options. She may decide differently later but at 25 I said I liked my (married and happy) life and was not interested in kids. At 32, I was ready. Why does her concern make her a bad person? Jesus between global warming, ISIS attacks, racism, pollution, and cancer, it is a wonder any intelligent person decides to bring another human into the world. |

She's not 25, she's in her 30s and he's in his 40s. She knew he wanted kids yet she married him anyway. She knew this was coming and I seriously doubt she gave him a hard and fast and very serious no to kids pre-marriage.
That's why she comes across as so pathetic going to see a therapist about this. I agree she shouldn't have kids. She doesn't want them, she shouldn't have them. But her acting like this wasn't going to come up after marriage is a joke and boring as hell to watch her hem and haw about. |

I think Cameron knew she needed a storyline, so decided to make this "crisis" her big plot line. That way she could sit and judge everyone else this season.
