The characterization of Caroline was not good.And John represented as much sweeter, and weaker, than he was. Overconfidence and surface charm was a huge part of who he was.

Really only appreciated the actors who played Edith, Ann, and Calvin Klein.

I’m sad it’s over, I’ll miss this revisit to 90s nyc, and think it’s fine that the show romanticized their ending. it was made for entertainment, not to be a documentary, and as a love story leans in to the idea that they had chemistry and were drawn to each other even if they weren’t a practical match long term. I’d love to see Emmy nods for any of the actors playing Calvin and Kelly, Ethel, Ann, and Carolyn Bessette
