No there were like 5 federal agents there to arrest this one guy. Read the effing complaint. |
It’s hard to win the dumbest post on DCUM but you said hold my beer and stepped right up. |
Dp: The only one mentioning Trump here is you. |
As a federal prosecutor and Republican, no, this will not hold up in court.
The warrant that the arresting agents had was not the correct warrant needed to take custody of Flores-Ruiz. It's ridiculous that they knew he would be in the courtroom that day and arrived with the incorrect warrant. That's sloppy policework and it reflects negatively on the efforts of the Administration. Once again, as has been said many times here, the correct procedures and paperwork needs to be used when deporting people. You can either want judges to follow the laws and constitution for all persons in the U.S. or you don't. And if you don't, then you must be perfectly fine when something unjust happens to you or your loved one and the court turns a blind eye. Because we all need to remember, Trump's reign is only for another 3.7 years - and then what happens? What will happen in the U.S. if the next president is a Democrat and they decide to pass sketchy EOs that all MAGA are domestic terrorists and must be deported to Venezuela or El Salvador? Trump is playing a dangerous game of revenge politics, and it is going to backfire when he and the GOP are out of power. |
They intended to arrest him after his hearing. That is a reasonable plan. Who knew the judge would sneak him out?
His victims were there to testify. Should they have arrested him sooner? Doesn't matter. |
Why would I? The victims were battered by the illegal alien. They didn’t claim it to be a hate crime. You are grasping at straws here to deny them their day in court. |
They wanted him tried for the domestic violence battery first. |
And pray tell, “Republican,” how do you figure that the type of warrant impacts her intent to deny an arrest? |
Yeah no, there are multiple posters above mentioning Trump starting with the one who claimed he had staged a photo op. Read the thread. |
Two of the agents were in the courtroom to make the arrest! In the courtroom while court was in session! That is way over the line. No judge would put up with that in their courtroom. |
According to the court filings that is untrue. They were in the hallway outside the courtroom. The judge exited her courtroom to confront them and directed them to the chief justice’s room and then secreted the illegal alien out the back door of her courtroom. |
DP. Please next to you there is never a dumbest post! The tide always changes. The Nazi thought they would last for a thousand years and committed horrible crimes. 2-3 years later the Russians were giving the Germans a taste of their own medicine. Trump and maga are crashing hard- unpopular policies, corruption, incompetency, inexperience and ego. All these agents are in serious legal trouble. The laws and constitution do not apply to Trump but all his underlings and thugs …rule of law will be applied to them. |
It's actually as you said, but the roles are reversed. The Biden administration thought it would last another 4 years, or at least have a Democrat in the White House. Didn't work out that way, and now folks are finding out that laws previously ignored are being enforced. |
There's not a chance you're actually a federal prosecutor. Even if you think the administrative warrant is worthless, the agents were attempting to make an on view PC arrest in a public place, which is perfectly legal. Signed, Actually an AUSA |
