PP here who has been defending Israel. I actually 100% agree with this. My main issue is that Israel is not a great power manipulating abroad - it’s a nation (a tiny one) with legitimate security interests. |
Absolutely not. they are victims of Hamas and Israel. |
We got 9/11 because certain Muslim sects are intractably antisemitic and anti American. |
They aren’t attacking civilians in Syria. They destroyed Sryian weapons including chemical weapons. |
And the navy. And air defense. And the passport office. And helped themselves to a chunk of Syrian land. Quick question: what is the reason one might possibly strip a country from any means to defend itself? Hmmmm.....It's not like it has a neighbor that is gagging for more lebenstraum....or does it? |
"Legitimate security interests" do not include impunity from any action. |
Interesting. So you think Israel ought to be able to invade and annex territory at will? Israel never cared about international law so let's not pretend this rose ever bloomed. Antisemitism and holding Israel accountable for what it does are two different things. But I understand you would greatly prefer it if the charge of antisemitism precluded any accountability for Israel's actions at all. |
Gee what is the reason to eliminate stockpiles of chemical weapons when you can? your position is transparently absurd and we all know why. |
Israel protecting the border and destroying weapons is 100% justified. Your focus on Israel (while ignoring Turkey which is *actually* capturing Syrian territory to the north) shows exactly what underlies your reasoning |
Sure go ahead, try them 😆 |
Turkey doesn't pretend to be the moralest. Israel can protect its border from inside the border. Why does Israel want Syria to not have air defense? |
There is no “Syria” right now. It’s a failed state and Israel is destroying the weapons and ships left behind. And yeah, I’m so sure that Turkey “not pretending” is the reason you are hyper focused on Israel. Of course the trope of Jews being duplicitous is an ancient one. |
Such a zero sum mindset. The US does not need a weakened China or Russia to flourish. What is we we’re all three strong and robust - wouldn’t the leveraging collective skills and strengths make the world a better place? |
So, how long until the US has to send in troops to deal with the terrorists running this failed (more accurately assassinated) state? Months, years? |
No israel is destroying a state by bombing it. The reason there is a focus on Israel is because US foreign policy is solely about only doing Israel’s bidding. There is no US interest involved it just all Israel’s Lebensraum. Let’s just ask about Jewish duplicity. Who killed Hamas’s negotiator after they agreed to a hostage release? Who kill Yitzhak Rabin? Who funded Trump and attacked Biden? Who attacked Hezbollah after they agreed to a ceasefire? Who boomed Lebanon? Who provoked a war with Iran? Now you push your endless propaganda that blowing up a country and killing their civilians will make that country friendly to Israel? That is duplicitous. |
