I voted for Trump but definitely don’t like him.

A vote for Trump is a vote against women and a vote for corruption. You must be proud.

Not every woman supports the right to kill their baby.

There are women who live a life completely dictated by the men in their lives. There are women who internalize the constant stream of misogyny in our society. They look to the men in their life to provide them thoughts/opinion and surrender their free will. I think we are all well aware of this fact.

And liberals/pro-choicers wonder why people are turned off by them. It is this attitude. If you dare hold the belief that human beings should not be killed inside the womb, that MUST mean you are evil, controlled by men, want to control women, etc. It couldn't be, gasp, that you don't think humans should be killed.

You would have much better success trying to persuade if you simply said, as it used to be before your side went off the rails: "Abortion is not good, it should be rare, but I still believe at the end of the day that women should have control over what happens to something inside their body, no matter what that means." Instead, you attack people for, gasp, having a problem with killing a human being.

Yeah. I’m sure all the people who realized they’d been played on Jan 6 are gearing up to vote for him.

And all the Republicans speaking out against him too.

So popular. Wow!

I am in VA and I convinced my wife and son to vote for the good of the country and for the best interest of the common people and they both voted for Trump yesterday.

So your wife voted against woman having access to healthcare and control of their bodies in the best interest of the common people??

DP (and a woman) here to let you know that not every woman is solely motivated to vote for the right to kill her unborn child. I am more than my uterus, thank you VERY much. And I'm perfectly fine with abortion being a states right issue.

DP. Seeing as how the pregnancy that ended up NOT in my uterus tried to kill me, I'm all for a woman having the right to not die due to "God's will" and the policies of evangelical legislators.

Unfortunately, I know several other women who had to terminate much later on in their pregnancies due to their own health issues. Pregnancy complications aren't that rare, and too many states now have laws in place that serve to undermine medical judgment (see TX and Idaho's arguments against EMTALA, and that hospitals should not have to provide life-saving abortions in the case of a medical emergency). Women have been medevac'd out of Idaho for life-saving obstetric care like it is some sort of 3rd world country.

You are absolutely more than your uterus. It's a shame the forced-birth crowd doesn't agree with you.

There are bigger issues - I’m past having kids, never slept around and could take care of my birth control. And it’s a State issue now.

And clearly very lucky to have never needed an abortion to save your life, right? Never had to sit outside an ER waiting until you've lost the right amount of blood or had a high enough fever to warrant actual, appropriate medical care. Never had to wait for a tubal rupture or hemorrhage to receive surgery for an ectopic that could have been resolved with a couple injections of methotrexate had treatment not been delayed.

You cannot legislate for every single thing that could go wrong in a pregnancy that might necessitate an abortion and, in critical situations, patients don't have the time to wait for their cases to be reviewed by lawyers to determine if they are close enough to death to qualify for care.

DP here - I'm past childbearing age and have 2 kids but I also had an abortion in my early 20s.

The right to have an abortion is the SINGLE most important issue to me in the political landscape down to the political party that is able to appoint SCOTUS to keep it legal.

I hate Trump, I hate Kamala just as much but just on this issue, I would vote for her.

My problem is that she sucks so badly that I know while she may stand on this issue, she will likely falter on every other issue incl economics which I deem just as important for my family. I have a really really hard time with her and I'm also only 1 voter. She will likely still get my vote but the way she's going, I'm not sure she gets everyone's vote even on this huge single issue.

Infant mortality is up since Roe was overturned. So good job. Point that finger at yourself bc you're killing infants.

Those infants ghad to suffer for their few precious minutes or hours of life, struggling for breath and in incredible pain. And the mothers and families got to sit by and helplessly watch that struggle, then turn around and heal from a delivery and pay the exorbitant medical costs associated with the care, missed time from work, and emotional trauma. But YAY for those few minutes of life, right? Because you know the forced-birthers aren't stepping up to help out with the aftermath. All part of God's plan.

Funny, as a Christian myself who was raised in the Methodist church, that I don't remember the suffering of infants and their mothers being a part of God's plan for us.

Hmmm.. I'm not sure you buy into your counter of the abortion is not good, should be rare but women should have control argument either - am I right? Basically, the only logical conclusion of why there's a movement to quell choice is the belief that women who are making that choice either don't know what they want, talking about, or should be put in a decision to decide. Does it matter why? The end result is that pro life movement seeks to take away choice. I don't believe for a second you have a problem killing a human being since a mother's right to life is not protected when discussing choice. Infant mortality is up and that doesn't phase you either so hmmm...what are you talking about??

Uh, I don't think you understand what that term means. There have already been tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of lives saved. Obviously a higher number of babies are dying because of genetic abnormalities when they are carried to term, but that number is very small compared to the number of babies not being killed in the womb. So the overall suffering is WAY down. I am excited to poll the soon-to-be millions of babies when they grow up whether they are happy they were not killed.

Let’s get back on topic here. Kamala is losing and everyone but MS-NPC bots know it.

Watch Obama’s body language in that barber shop last week. He’s seen the internal polls.

Dem senate candidates in rust belt are running ads touting their work with Trump! 😂

Trump.

Kamala was anointed and not elected. The strategy of calling potential voters sexist pigs of they don’t vote for you isn’t a winning one. Also when your party hates men (and white men in particular) you’re also not going to win over those votes with the exception of the people who are the epitome of self-loathing beta males.

Trump is offering things like tax free tips, tax free overtime, writing off interest are auto loans and if you’re a person who isn’t a first time home buyer, doesn’t have a new born and not getting an abortion Harris has nothing to offer.

Trump wins because guys like to have more money in their pockets, want to have a good economy and don’t like illegal immigration. Abortion means nothing to men, they don’t care.

Trump wins GA, PA and AZ. Possibly MI. But once he takes PA it’s lights out for Harris/Walz

NP. Every single state has an exception for ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, or if mother’s life is at risk. Now what a specific doctor does or doesn’t do is irrelevant. The law is that abortions in these circumstances are allowed

It's all over. Trump will carry most or all of the battleground states, so even though the popular vote will be very close, the election will have the feel of a landslide.

My friend was diagnosed with cancer after finding out she was pregnant. She delayed treatment until after the baby was born But it was too late and she left behind 3 kids. I wouldn't choose that but respect she did. It should always be a choice

It’s projection. The same people saying that women live lives dictated by men also want to dictate that women should live their life exactly the way that they do. “Live and let live” just doesn’t exist with these people.

At what point is the mother's life "at risk" enough, though? If a doctor errs on the side of caution because they think their patient is at risk of sepsis or hemorrhage, or any number of other complications, who is to say that someone else might disagree and think they didn't wait long enough? And suddenly, it is a criminal case.

Or what about threats to health, but not necessarily life? What about a woman who becomes infertile, or ends up with life-long issues with her heart or kidney, etc. that could have been prevented with appropriate medical care that just might include abortion?
These states don't have bans that include opt-outs for health of the mother, terminal conditions in the fetus, etc.
