Was there a bit of misunderstanding here? Not criticizing at all, we all get a bit confused and yesterday was a big "news" day. This was posted yesterday the 17th about a hearing "tomorrow" also the "17th" when "tomorrow" was actually the "18th" which is today (my apologies!). Juliana has a previously schedule hearing Thursday the 19th to suppress some prior testimony. That we already knew about. Does she in fact have a newly scheduled hearing today Wednesday the 18th about which people have been speculating would announce a plea bargain?

Maybe she’s entering a plea. Not sure though. there’s also a search warrant issued today for her case and then the weird jail card thing posted on her case.

Based on PP's Google of the term I'm guessing the jail card is the order or request from the court to bring Juliana to court for her hearing tomorrow.

Nope, different defendant, different case and BB's hearing was moved to Thursday.

Do you guys think there’s a chance he actually plotted it all and involved Juliana too?

What if BB and AP were starting an affair, he tells her he knew CB was cheating on him, found her profile on fet life and all of that.

He stabs CB before leaving the house, AP doesn’t know at this point, she’s getting ready w the kid to go out.

She leaves (or leaves and comes back) and sees JR going in, tells BB. BB goes in first, shoots him while she’s putting the kid in the basement. She did testify when she got into the room, CB was already stabbed. BB asks her to take the gun and shoot JR so he doesn’t get up while he’s trying to “save” Christine, now she’s also involved.
That would justify her calling 911 and hanging up. Maybe he took the phone away from her and asked her to get the gun at that very moment.

He plays the victim to her, tells her that he caught JR stabbing CB and all of that. Juliana is stupid enough to never tell this to the police until now that she’s noticing he won’t do anything for her.


I thought about that bc I remember at the trial, when he pledge the fifth , and specially when the prosecutor said he was trying to help her, she was looking in disbelief.

I do think she’s trash for getting involved w him, accepting sleeping in CB’s bed and all. But I also think there’s a chance BB knows more than she does.

No idea. Maybe the au pair agency? It would not surprise me if there was a clause in the au pair contract that obligated the agency to pay for a lawyer in a circumstance like this.

Otherwise, there was ZERO reason for Juliana to be in the house, much less fire a gun. In fact, one thing that has never made sense is that Juliana and the daughter entered the house at all. Especially the daughter.

You think the agency has subrogation clause in their contract that would require the agency to pay for the au pair's lawyer in the event the au pair commits murder while working? OMFG. I am a Virginia lawyer, but you don't need to be one to understand how ludicrous your statement is. 1) murder is not a reasonable action taken in the due course of her work duties of being a nanny, and 2) most employment contracts that have clauses like this have carve outs for willful misconduct and gross negligence, and I would say killing your employer qualifies as such.

I just keep thinking about Christine’s family and how they’ve known Brendan since he was a teen. That he showed up at her funeral, acting like the grieving husband. That he never wrote her an obituary. Brutal.

I've tried to work this out too but can't quite get there because I think the AP had to be at least tangentially involved. Maybe she thought she was participating in a situation where CB would be "caught" cheating giving BB reason to divorce her, not knowing that BB was planning something much more ruthless. But things like the trip to the gun range, getting new phones just before, and the simple fact that she has held out in jail for almost a year without caving.

I really think people mean unethical instead of conflict of interest. No one can possibly think that a Lawyer, a professional under the law, is going to do what is in the best interest of Brendan Banfield because he’s writing checks, when the person he is representing is Juliana Perez! How did he get the au pair to come back into the house at the specific time, if she didn’t know about it?
