And an angle attacking Rauma and Gadi Kedem last night by Netanyahu's supporters. After Bibists confronted Rauma and held up a "Treacherous Leftists" sign and told her "It's good that they killed your children," Rauma tried to take the sign from the Netanyahu supporter's hand and he punched her. A second later Gadi crosses the fence. From this angle it seems that he pushed the...

So, insane pp found one radical who is crazy in Isreal? What about our crazy protesters here burning our flag, carrying signs that support Hamas?
The only reason that crazy is allowed to post is that Jeff started this thread and is Orientalist. Otherwise, she would have been shut down long ago.

If the democrats lose they will be forced to look at WHY they lost and potentially change their policy on Israel to win the next election. Americans are no longer going to blindly support israel, and politicians that do will be forced to change their view or continue to lose elections.

It won't, but he'll likely tear it all down.

I'll rest with my morals.

The only thing you care about is Israel. Do you really think Trump will be good for Israel? Trump has said the Gaza invasion is very bad for the US and Israel needs to finish it up. This was many months ago. If he returns he will order Israel to stop. If they do not he will cut military aid and remove Netanyahu. Biden would never do that. Trump knows Israel only understands force and those who use it.

DP.

If Trump wins, your "morals" will result in more suffering for the Palestinians AND more suffering for vulnerable Americans.

Doesn't seem very moral to me.

If you think Trump is going to tear down the American military industrial complex’s support to Israel, you are deeply deluded.

Oh just keep the propaganda up. Israeli right attacks on the families started very early and continues to this day. Remember the hostages were taken from an area that is considered leftist and “bad” Jews or not really Jews at all. As such they are traitors to the state of Israel. This is the mentality in Israel. As soon as the “not one of us” label is applied you can be treated as the enemy.

All of these hostages could have been freed in November but few people in Israel wanted that. This is a fact. Israel made the choice to bomb and level Gaza vs get the hostages back. The hostage families face well organized and funded opposition in Israel. It just does not get reported in the US. In Israel there is the American narrative/propaganda said in English and the real Israel which is in Hebrew.

Someone just reported this post to me and I am very confused. The only reason that I started this thread was because the previous thread reached 1,000 pages and I started a new one in which to continue the discussion. Other than that, I hardy participated in this thread and rarely even read it. What do you mean by "Orientalist"? That term has a very specific meaning in Middle Eastern studies and, frankly, I am insulted to be referred to as such.

This is really delusional. Americans generally don't vote based on things happening a gazillion miles away. It might move things on the margins if there was a Gandhi or MLK or George Washington, but Palestinians chose Sinwar and Hamas and to hell with all of them. Palestinians can't change the narrative until they change their leadership. Americans will very happily support Israel when they're fighting Islamic extremists. And if progressives think this is an issue, well, the republican replacement is going to be extra enthusiastic about destroying Gaza and supporting settlements in the West Bank.

Progressive protestors with their stupid chants and appalling Hamas cheerleading have been a gift to Netanyahu and the Israeli right wing.

The proof is in the pudding. I'd take 5 kids in cages at the southern border over 2.2 million displaced Gazans in an open air prison (With 40,000 dead and 160,000? wounded).

It's just simply math. Not hyperbole, not rhetoric. Just numbers....

Yes, Israel is good at Killing the Gandhis and MLKs before they come to power...

That's not the choice.

With Trump, you'll get BOTH more displaced Palestinians and more suffering in the US.

Simple math, like you said.
