So let me ask those of you protesting the genocide in Gaza, if you plan to sit out this election or vote for Jill Stein, how will you feel if Trump wins? How will that help your cause for a ceasefire ?
If the democrats lose they will be forced to look at WHY they lost and potentially change their policy on Israel to win the next election. Americans are no longer going to blindly support israel, and politicians that do will be forced to change their view or continue to lose elections.
This is really delusional. Americans generally don't vote based on things happening a gazillion miles away. It might move things on the margins if there was a Gandhi or MLK or George Washington, but Palestinians chose Sinwar and Hamas and to hell with all of them. Palestinians can't change the narrative until they change their leadership. Americans will very happily support Israel when they're fighting Islamic extremists. And if progressives think this is an issue, well, the republican replacement is going to be extra enthusiastic about destroying Gaza and supporting settlements in the West Bank. Progressive protestors with their stupid chants and appalling Hamas cheerleading have been a gift to Netanyahu and the Israeli right wing.
