Allowing women liberty isn't the same as encouraging anything...but I think you know that. |
Your lack of concern for living, breathing WOMEN is disturbing. You don’t get to force your religious extremist beliefs on anyone else. |
False equivalence. No one is encouraging women to have abortions. All we want is for abortion to be an option for any woman who feels it is the best choice for her. |
Their beliefs are not "religious," they are anti-woman. They are the product of men controlling women. The are entirely political. Cynical politicians have used the abortion issue to hyper-emotionalize both men and women about abortion, when the end game is controlling women, keeping them in their place, always subservient to men. Don't get distracted by this "baby" crap. Abortion is not about babies, it's about control, pure and simple. Women must not be allowed to control their own reproduction. Men must always be in control of women. |
I don't think anyone should be "encouraging" women to have abortions. This is a decision for the woman to decide. And I support women who decide they don't want to go through with their pregnancies, because I respect women. No one is fooled by your fake concern for black and brown babies. |
| Pregnancy begins with a penis. Regulate sperm. |
That’s not the current standard under Casey and Roe. |

+1 Giving birth in America is much more dangerous than in peer nations. |
Well, according to the Governor of Louisiana this is NBD because if you only consider white women, it's not so bad
https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/05/bill-cassidy-maternal-mortality-rates/amp (And people are trying to defend this because he at least acknowledges that we shouldn't minimize the problem of higher death rates for Black women. These people are monsters and calling themselves the voice of morality.) |
+2 That it’s largely among Black women doesn’t absolve the forced birthers from their support for the policies that keep Black women dying. |
That it's largely Black women is a complete red herring and frankly offensive to even mention. Last I checked, Black Americans are still Americans. Or has the SCOTUS also overturned Dred Scott while I wasn't paying attention? |
I agree. But the forced birthers’ big claim is that they’re soooo pRo LiFe and they are not. I enjoy needling their hypocrisy. They just have a desire to control women and a fetus fetish. |
