Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

What about her complaint compared to his complaint makes you support her claim? You’ve described your own experiences, but that has nothing to do with what she has alleged.

I have already described some of these things in the preceding pages and JB supporters chime in with how their own interpretation of events is better and more reasonable lol (plus the comment about how PP is a real survivor of sexual harassment and knows what sexual harassment is. Newsflash: Reasonable people can disagree. You are not the only female atty on this board who has dealt with weird ass men.)

I honestly question whether some JB supporters here aren’t just either people hired by JB’s PR firm (which does these things) or people who have read the poisonous stuff that those people have posted somewhere and then believe it and post similar views themselves. I’m surprised by the sheer number of people on here saying that when Lively asked the (non-Baldoni) producer person to turn their back (after trying in unsuccessfully to reschedule their meeting for another time) and then found him looking at her anyway having completely failed to respect her request and turn his back was somehow Lively’s fault. I understand this isn’t the worst of what happened to her, but dude should have respected her boundaries and tbh art’s not on her. For multiple posters here to actually be blaming that on Lively feels like something weird is going on.

We know how you feel about the breast feeding incident.

Funny that people are calling defenders of Lively’s lawsuit “shrieking and irrational” above but they don’t seem to be put off by this sort of comment at all. Go figure!

What’s wrong with it? You seem pretty riggered-tray over this post, can you say why?

Has anyone said anything remotely as cruel about JB? This goes way beyond just having a little ol' opinion.

Where’s the cruelty? And I didn't write that post btw.

Where is the cruelty of a comment reading "Blake is a big fat bully. Shame on her. She is a disgrace." Got it, all of that is A-Okay with you, while the comments calling for a wait and see approach re whose Complaints told the truth on the disputed events are "shreiking and irrational." lol ooookay.

Did I say you did? The point stands. It's an example of how deranged posters are getting which is not at all the way people are talking about Baldoni.

Take a walk, baby. You’re a mess.

This thread was solidly supportive of Lively until Baldoni filed a response. Opinions change.

Doll, you're not on TT anymore. Must be rough.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. You’re just really an embarrassment to yourself. How is this so personal to you, the worm turning regarding a highly public dispute involving people you’ve never met?

Hmm seems like you're the one having a mental breakdown over it.

"Can you say why" wut?? Oh, wait, I get this one, it's sea lioning! Wow I haven't seen that out in the wild since the mid aughts! I didn't even think it still happened!

DP but how do you know it happened like this? Justin’s complaint is saying that she called the meeting because she couldn’t meet during the time they had arranged the producer meeting. It just defies logic that Jamie Heath wanted so badly to maybe catch a glimpse of her breast-feeding, which by the way sounds like was common and happened on set every day anyway, that he deliberately scheduled a meeting when he knew she couldn’t be there so that he could happen upon her make up trailer with three other freaking women in there to steal a glimpse of her boobs.

When the cofounder of the production company finds himself in a makeup trailer, it’s probably because the star of the film wanted him there to accommodate her busy schedule.

It just sounds like she collected a bunch of sort of vague out of context examples like this so that she could show Justin had a reason to retaliate beyond just trying to save his reputation after she completely smeared him during the promotion of the film by banning him from the premier.

I am sure with all of their creative differences there were some awkward and uncomfortable moments on set. But sexual harassment should have higher standards than that.

To be fair she was a big fat buly to that reporter.

It was established that they had a meeting and he didn’t barge in. It is unclear who decided the meeting should be there. Baldoni’s lawsuit claims it was Blake‘s idea and they were trying to fit it in her schedule, she says Jamey came in and implied he wanted the meeting then and there. No one is saying he barged in. It sounded like they agreed that he could come in and talk, but she wanted more privacy.

What I don’t understand is, and just thinking through situations in my life like say the middle school locker room, if I’m going to be undressed for a second I go ahead and turn around.

There are three other women in there - just not sure why somebody couldn’t hold up a towel or something. Very confused why she was standing there topless for a prolonged period of time where he kept being able to steal glances. It just seems like a totally weird
situation that defies logic. That’s why I’m inclined to think it was just an awkward slip up when she was transitioning to breastfeeding vs. Jamey standing there refusing to turn around while 3 women are there.

New poster here. I was somewhat supportive of BL at first until I saw his complaint.

I think there may have been misunderstandings on set, but I don’t think what he did was SH or retaliation at all. I think she started icing him, so he ran to protect himself with some pointed PR, but it took on a life of its own because of BLs own issues- mean girl rep, promoting the film as a rom com, co promoting her hair and alcohol brands, etc.

She thought she’d file a lawsuit riding on #metoo coattails to repair her brand and reposition herself as the victim, but didn’t count on him fighting back.

Poorly played.

She was having body makeup removed. She was in a makeup trailer, sitting down, while a makeup artist removed makeup that had been applied to her chest for the movie.

I think this is what happened, too.

I do too! I think she overplayed her hand.

That’s from her complaint. His complaint says she was not topless, she was having makeup removed from her collarbone. I’m not sure what body makeup they would need to have on her where she would need to be topless. Did she have makeup on her boobs? Her breast were never seen in the movie because it’s PG-13. We’re never going to see Blake’s breast on screen. It’s just not the kind of movies that she does. This was a mainstream summer movie. I saw it.

I’m really confused as to how this would even work. Was she standing facing Jamie having somebody remove her make up or was she sitting in a make up chair, not facing him.

The mental gymnastics I have to do to make this situation plausible has literally made me dumber. I feel like she was just transitioning from one top to another and something slipped. I don’t see any scenario where Blake had to be standing there naked facing Jamey for a prolonged period of time where he couldn’t tear his eyes away as an assistant, make up artist, and nanny stood by.

“Jamey, please look away.”

Reluctantly, Jamey looks away only a few seconds later to look up again.

Jamey, I’ve told you to please look away.

Reluctantly, Jamie looks away again.

The whole thing is just so effing stupid and insane.
