No score of any game will distract those of us appalled at Reid’s handling of this and want her held accountable, including for “Reid allegedly labeled a meeting between South County High School parents and their popular coach, Gerry Pannoni, as racist.”

By news article: “a transcript of the meeting’s audio, posted Tuesday morning by a local YouTuber who previously disclosed text exchanges involving Hayfield Coach Darryl Overton and a student-athlete, presents a different story, with no signs of racial animus.”

Where is that public apology. One is due and hope the School Board demands it or her resignation or both.

Hayfields beat SoCo 63-0 earlier this season. When SoCo was too dog,they did the same to others.whatngoes around, comes around. Pony macaroni,should stayed in the land of the lobos.

The SB is derelict in not demanding this right now.

West Springfield takes out SoCo 41-12. Freefield questions aside, I suspect they may appreciate this game more than the 50+ burger they would have hung on Edison last week under the old format.

I didn't vote for Meren, and I don't understand who would vote for Frisch or some of these other SB members. Agree that it's derelict that Overton wasn't placed on leave.

The main coach spearheading all this was Pannoni, and instead of preparing his team, he’s getting beat on pretty good himself. Could be karma or could be coaching. Guess we’ll see who’s next, seems to be Fairfax.

All in all security around field, no more than 50 Edison fans, probably 150 Hayfield fans including kids running around on Hayfield sidelines, on this chilly brisk night. No parent rants, nothing.

Someone was complaining about the Braddock score but I mean I don’t think anyone is shocked, Mount Vernon just doesn’t have the player base to compete with a lot of schools

Curious about fairfax v west po last score check was 21-12, closer than I’d expect so maybe a evenly matched game

The westfield-madison game tomorrow should be good.

Yeah Hayfield isn’t in a football district. They can just breeze through their competition. When they get to the winner of that game, there could be trouble.
