He will be shooting a new film by the end of the year. I guarantee it. The entire point of the lawsuit was to resuscitate his career.

After a trial that laid bare all of the reasons why he unreliable as an actor (drinking/drug use, lack of preparation, etc.) and his recent non-Pirates films largely bombed? Maybe some very indie film that no one sees that he films for peanuts, but I would be very surprised if he were cast in a major studio film any time soon.

Also he looks terrible. Like Steven Segal.

WHY? It's not unusual to not be present.

Ok my son just slow motioned video of the judge flipping pages before she called attorneys to bench. Someone won, they failed to write in damages.Attorney on Court Tv said if she judge flipped beyond first of 2nd page, damages left out for Heard. Son counted 3 pages flipped, camera pivots to Heard team bu pages still being flipped heard in background. He counted 7 page flips.

You know he brought the suit, right? There would be no lawsuit at all without his choices.

Odds are they will. Juries make mistakes sometimes, but overall juries tend to take their responsibilities seriously and really do their best to get the correct answer from a legal standpoint. Those verdicts are sometimes dissatisfying to the public, but more often than not it’s because the public did not properly understand the law and the process rather than because the jury got it wrong based on the evidence.

PP here. All that said, the jury not filling out the damages amount does not inspire confidence.

Yes I found that discouraging

Given her reference to compensatory damages, my guess is they filled out an amount for punitive damages for overlooked the compensatory damages line. The question is whether they just forgot to fill in the compensatory damages line but know what they meant to enter, or if they put the total for everything in punitive line and now have to figure out how to break it down. The longer this goes on, the more I lean toward the latter.

They all look so somber! I have no idea how it's gonna turn out

The special verdict form is eight pages. First four for JD’s claim, second four for AH’s claim. But even if error was in first four, she would look at all ofnthe pages to make sure there were no further errors.

They must be utterly exhausted. Just a one day trial exhausted me.

On the contrary if he wins and proves everything Amber said was a lie - he's back to blockbusters again.

The studios aren't bound by this lawsuit at all. He still would have lost The Sun lawsuit and he has an upcoming assault suit.

Dude's life is a mess.
