So Ukraine is in a NATO aliance? Since...when? |
What’s embarrassing or inaccurate about her statement as a representative of US foreign policy. We are standing up for Ukraine and we, the US, clearly see Ukraine is the front line in a dreadful proxy war between Putin and NATO. |
This is like a Mike Myers movies Russias gonna leave him and make the ISS crash into earth - Elon Musk offers to pick him up. I’m not sure my grandkids are gonna believe any of this! |
Do you have a comprehension problem or an LD? Her point is quite clear. Or perhaps your point is a attempt to undermine our VP. Putin sycophant. |
DP, but one can be honest about the vp’s weaknesses without being a “Putin sycophant” |
In saner times, I'd have reported you for behaving like an unhinged provocateur. Since when do people not facepalm over politicians saying different than what everyone knows is intended? |
When inclusion or exclusion of "and" means the difference between jaw-jaw and war-war, it's best to get it right. |
She's fine. The opposition always parses words of incumbents, because that's literally their JOB. We did the same for the previous incumbents - there was a LOT more material ![]() |
She misspoke. Wasn’t she a former prosecutor? She should know better. |
This has been debunked. Don't be so quick to believe something because it supports your views. |
Sure, they should all know better, PP. Particularly those who lie ALL THE TIME DURING THEIR FOUR YEARS IN OFFICE, more by far than any other. Don't throw stones, dear. They're all going to hit you on the back of the head. |
And some of those who lied for their 4 years in office still haven’t stopped. It’s hard to take Trumpster outrage seriously. |
So now Putin is going begging to Xi for help. Russia will be nothing more than a Chinese puppet when this is done. Putin has lost no matter what, because he will forever be under China’s thumb. |
I am having trouble seeing an ending to this conflict other than for Ukraine to agree to maintain neutrality in the future -- that is, to stay outside of NATO.
I admire Zelensky's bravery. But I wonder if, in the end, he will simply have to agree to roughly the same deal he could have obtained prior to the invasion. It isn't just Putin who doesn't want Ukraine in NATO -- according to William Burns, it is virtually the entire Russian government. |
Stuff it, Vlad. |
