Sept 11th, about 8pm

Or so they claim.

Could be accurate. I doubt they would invite Cassie and her kids camping after learning their son murdered his girlfriend. He probably lied to his parents for days. Told them on 10th or 11th, killed himself on 13th.

They are just using that as an excuse to cover up their inadequacy as a department.
What a joke!

I had the video from the cops body cam on August 12th pop up on my YouTube earlier and watched 117 minutes of it.
Am hoping the police in the video get disciplined for their treatment of poor Gabby.
Sure looking at it in hindsight it is so easy to judge.
However the way the two cops behaved is unacceptable.
An example is when the cop approached a very distraught Gabby in the police cruiser.
He initially told her that a witness had started that he had seen Brian strike her.

Then at the video’s conclusion, armed w/the knowledge that Brian did hit her, he is rewarded w/a paid for night at the Rowan Hotel.
And Gabby is left in a strange, desert town completely alone for an entire night.
No one to stay with, no money or water.
Just left to find a place to park her van and pray that there is no creepy guy in the woods.

Which there obviously was (due to the murder of the lesbian couple in the same area.)

Just boggles my mind how callous the cops were on that day.

Yes, there was in fact a killer on the loose at that time in that specific area.
And I have heard that the Police Chief of the department that handled the 8/12 situation voluntarily stepped down.
They probably realized how inefficient their officers were in handling the entire DV situation.
Reward a future murderer with a free, one night paid for stay at a centrally located hotel courtesy of the non-profit Safe Haven.
They would not pay for a hotel room for Gabby since she was named the primary aggressor.
Instead future killer Brian got a hot shower and a color t.v. plus a warm bed while Gabby was left completely alone, left to her own devices for an entire evening. Brian had the money, she had no food or water plus nowhere to crash for the night.

All she got was a list of public showers where she could take a $4-5 shower to clear her head and cool off.

Nice sock puppetry.

Mother and son are “built similarly” … I’m sorry but how???

https://people.com/crime/brian-laundrie-was-likely-dead-when-cops-confused-mother-for-him-during-surveillance/

This is absurd, are they really saying this from an official police perspective? The people who have the sole job of observing criminals cannot tell the difference between a mother and her son?!

The cops are using this as an excuse to save their hides.
They never mixed the two up, they are just using this as an excuse as to why they had previously stated that they were aware of Brian’s whereabouts when asked at a press conference.

They indulged in their boy at every turn - and protected him from ever suffering any real-life consequences. I know lots of parents who are doing that to their darling little boys.

You should listen to the mothers of monstrous criminals speak out... "It's not who our son was" type of delusional garbage. Interested persons should look into the mother/son relationship. The father has usually given up on interfering, and is usually emotionally disconnected, and offen physically absent.

I don’t see any evidence he was a monster. No previous crimes, criminal complaints, etc. His mental health wasn’t the best and he snapped. Poor Gabby, yes it’s horrible. But he felt remorse and took his own life. It doesn’t seem he was a sociopath, from what the media has presented.

I think that now that Brian Laundrie’s skeletal remains have been found & properly identified - the only remaining questions lie in his manner and cause of death, how long he had been deceased + what clues, if any were found written in the notebook 📓 that was recovered in the reserve.

Also > John Walsh had been very vocal and critical of the Laundries, even referring to them as the “Dirty Laundries.”
Yet since Brian’s remains have been discovered and identified - I have not heard a peep from him.
Has anyone else??

Her family rises above yet again...the fact that he acknowledged the Laundrie's loss is astoundingly selfless.

Joe says he is never going to get closure from the notebook -- even if cops can recover any info from it -- and it's not going to help him get over losing a child. He says the only reason he would want to know what Brian wrote would be for his own selfish gratification.

Gabby's father also says the notebook won't do much for Brian's parents either, because they lost a child too, and the book won't bring their son back either.

Instead of focusing on the notebook, Joe says he would rather put meaning behind Gabby's death ... and for him, that means making a difference with domestic violence issues.

I hope there are investigative journalists doing their job.
