Skinny is the new moral/hard working and all other kind of superiority?

Notice that no documentary on blue zones concluded that they do not eat carbs! No, do they say they avoid ice cream or sweets. Sure, they don't eat a ton of desserts, but they certainly eat bread and grains. Almost the very first thing they say is a diet high in grains!

Your kids are watching and learning. As the nanny pp pointed out, mom eats one meal a day, and who eats one meal a day? Her teen.
You all might think you are doing a great job modeling "healthy" eating to your kids, but you are messing them up. Not to mention, God forbid, if your kids gain a few lbs, they know you will despise them.
Among those that are almost certainly causing their kids eating disorders, if not now, then soon, and they are on the way, some are:
You can't eat pastry and be thin; you are lying pp
Sandwich is a bad food pp
Ice cream is disgusting pp
Looking at bread makes me gain weight pp
Of course, Jason Fung disciple
and I am sure she is on this thread as well, pp from the thread that called OP's kids who ate BK on vacation, mentally sluggish, and called her a terrible mom...

Is anyone actually stopping you from eating what you like? The level of navel gazing and concern about what others must think is pathetic. Hope you don’t pass your paranoia on to your kids.

I don't have paranoia about eating whatever I want, and you know that. It is just easier for you to hate me rather than to admit to yourself that you are paranoid about food. You just projecting all your fear onto me. You know you are ruining your kids' psyche with messed-up ideas about food and their bodies.

You are crazy. I have an older son and no, he doesn't have an eating disorder because I don't eat bread. And no, I'm not morally superior because I eat low carb. My brother is 6'3 and 175 lbs and eats a jar of nutella every evening with a spoon. Some of us cannot eat carbs without gaining a ton of weight because we have crappy metabolisms due to age, sex etc.

All of us have bodies that are meant to eat carbs. You are just ocd and you might have found something that works for you bcs you don't like cabrs.

You are insane. Nobody hates you, eat what you want. Honestly nobody cares about you. My kids are happy and healthy, I doubt you can say the same about yours living with such a head case as yourself.

LOL! Yet, here you are posting over and over about me...If you didn't care, you would not be having 10 posts in a row about me eating whatever, and nobody cares...

OP you care way too much about the opinions of anonymous posters here. It’s a free country, they’re allowed to be wrong! And the thing you can count on for DCUMs posts, it is a deep sense of entitlement and moral superiority.

Delusions of grandeur. You're a legend in your own mind. And it's not you and just 1 other person posting here.

Just say you don’t like ice cream. And maybe visit Italy while you’re at it and look at all the adults walking around eating gelato in cones.

Watching tourists licking giant ice cream cones with ice cream all over their faces and running down their arms is proof its not kid food? Eh. Ice cream isn't even that great most of the time. And certainly some of the tourist trap gelato places shouldn't exist. Not everyone loves ice cream and those that are lactose intolerant especially. That mean more for you, so don't worry about it.

You must be great in bed... not.

Maybe it is about I am so superior bcs I didn't eat bread, rice, and the myriad other foods bcs I am insane.

Yep, you are exactly right. Nobody here blamed anyone else and nobody said they have no agency. From pps who eliminate so many foods from their diet and think they are superior! It is true, you never see your own insanity. I have agency in my own life, and I am skinny to show that I have agency! LOL!

I say this as a person who has often lacked the discipline to make healthy dietary choices and make time for adequate exercise. I know when I reach for the junk and relax on the couch instead of going for a walk that I’m making lazy choices. I always had excuses— work, kids, commute, difficulty managing stress, a variety of health issues—but it really did come down to lack of discipline. Trying to turn over a new leaf, but it is challenging after a decade of increasingly bad habits. That’s on no one but me.

+1 It’s all about discipline.

Signed - Someone trying to lose 30 lbs gained because of lack of discipline.

Does that make you immoral?

Of course, she thinks it makes her immoral and morally inferior! She thinks she is only worth as a person if she is thin. She is a product of thin-obsessed culture and thin-obsessed media.

There is no “shaming.” People are allowed to be proud of themselves for making heathy choices.

And they are allowed to think those that are not thin are making unhealthy choices? Isn't your logic the definition of shaming others by prompting yourself up and being prideful?
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness.
