The top academy teams will always take good players. They will quickly replace a player on the roster at any time for one that is better. |
That is not even true. Who writes this stuff. The replacing would have already happened. The are not taking away spots on already full teams. |
It seems pretty likely BSC would reserve a few spots for transfers on top teams. I really doubt that top teams are already full. |
This is correct. There are a couple spots open on ECNL1 rosters. |
None of the ECNL1 teams in those age groups are over 16 girls for next year. They are saving a couple spots for the outside tryouts. Roster won't exceed 18 for those ages |
The Academy teams replace kids during the middle of the season or anytime. They have kids practice with them throughout the season and yes, kids get dropped to the lower team mid season. This is not true for the lower teams but true for the Academy team. |
Most coaches leave 1-2 spots open for an incoming "Messi" they didn't see and don't want to miss, but by and large the 'cattle call' will be for kids to go on 2nd and 3d teams at a big club like this. |

^^^ any outside player hoping for a spot on the ecnl 1 team would have to be a standout player- better than the top 5 players currently on the team. |
Sounds like a bottom player ECNL parent trying to hold on to a roster spot for their kid. |
+1. What the PP said made no sense. All the player has to be is better than any of the starting 11. |
Or better than any player 12-22. Don't worry PP the NCSL awaits you. |
bwahaha. you all are so spiteful- its pretty pathetic. there doesnt have to be an alterior motive in everyones comments. What was stated is that coaches policy. Period. So you all can go back to your lame Northern VA childish arguments, mmmkay? |
I was also thinking this board was starting to sound like the NOVA boards. Not a good look. |
