And then something will be unearthed about BT Washington or Lafayette- they abused a woman or something. I have come to see the wisdom of avoiding names altogether.

Sheila J Lee a UVA grad and long time congresswoman should also be considered. Booker T Washington-Sheila Jackson Lee.
Washington-Lee. Keep the name, the logo, mascot and everything else except the connection to White Supremacy. And save taxpayers all at the same time.
