Ugh, I can see saying raising the issue politely to the guy if he stayed around, because it would have potentially allowed the opportunity for the child to apologize and the man to accept the apology. But he is gone. What good can this type of posting possibly do? There is nothing beneficial to the kid that could come out of this, it is just a vent that makes her look silly and petty. |
OMG! It the pine cone kid!!! RUN!!!!! |
Awesome! No DCUM thread is complete without a dig at SAhMs. Let the debate begin! |
I heard the driver was the father! |
I am not a SAHM mom but I can assure you that pinecone moms WOTH also; pineconing is not limited to SAHMs. I gotta take up for my SAHM sisters. ![]() My friends who are SAHM are too busy to read listservs. I on the other hand have been surfing DCUM all morning for the bargain price of $225/hr. |
Very bad mothering. The kid has to learn to run after throwing something at a car. Or he could have two pine cones, throw one. When the guy gets out of the car, he can say I did not throw anything , I still have my pine cone! |
Hey, First Year - get back to your document review! |

Page 2 of this thread is hilarious. All the pinecone quotes and the pictures are hilarious.
Pinecone not, lest ye be pineconed. |
We should all try to be a bit more neighborly. After all, no man is a pinecone. |
I may have missed it, but did any of pinecone mom's friends ever answer why on Earth there would be a pinecone in this kid's carseat? |
The best part of the whole email is how her son "accidentally" hit a car because he was "removing" the pine cone from his car seat. Oooooookay. Maybe it had been there since fall, and he finally decided it needed to be "removed"? |
