What SHOULD Dems do?

“I want an apology”. Get over yourself. They made the decision based on the information they had at the time. As someone who had a Covid heart attack about 20 years earlier than anyone would have expected, and whose 22 year old niece had a Covid stroke, I appreciate that a lot of people attempted to reduce the spread and protect others. It would have been worse.

“This is an amazing time to be a Republican.”

If it is an amazing time to be a Republican, it should be an amazing time to be an American. If the leader of our country is doing a good job, everyone should be feeling great.

Right now, few US citizens are feeling great. Services are being cut, we are cutting back on our spending, the rest of the world hates us (except Russia). Our neighbors hate us, there is unrest at political meetings, my coworkers who are here on green cards are planning escape routes. This is awful.

Covid Karens are STILL sure they were right about everything. American voters disagree. Can Dems let it go? No. Dems are always right. That is their belief system

Why does this thread feel like 90% of it is a MAGA sock puppet repeatedly agreeing with itself?

Because it is. I think the DCUM political forum is officially dead.

Yes, definitely anyone who even slightly disagrees with DCUM Democrat orthodoxy has to be a MAGA sock puppet. Election results notwithstanding, it can’t possibly be that anyone disagrees with us because we are always right.

🤦

Don’t forget to use fabric softener before you post, to help reduce static cling.

Impeach? This is the type of unhinged “win at any cost” attitude that put the Dems on the sidelines. Try coming up with better ideas that actually help the American people, then sell those ideas to the voters, earn their votes, and then implement the ideas. Very simple.

Trump, like him or not, campaigned on an America first platform, which the majority of the American public supports, and he is effectively implementing that platform.

Nope, he campaigned on vindictiveness and cruelty (and getting people to he'd be like Trump 1 where he was somewhat reined in by his own side) and now unencumbered he's in the process he's shredding our system of checks and balances. A strong response/message is necessary by the opposition, similar to how strong he was in saying he'd do what he'd do. Opposition has to learn from him what works well ... That's simple and direct -- also within our traditions. He's not upholding our laws and going rogue. Fire the prez.

The only way to fire the Prez is to beat the Prez in an election. But as the Transgenderism Party, we’re unlikely to win popularity contests.

Why do Republicans make such a big deal out of this issue? It’s not like you can legislate human beings out of existence. Why is this even an issue in politics at all? What’s with the Republican identity politics?

Dems are hilarious. They ALL love this new pose of pretending that it’s ackshually Republicans who brought transgenderism into governments, schools, and girls’ locker rooms. It’s the latest agreed-upon talking point. It definitely doesn’t help win any swing voters back, but Dems seem to LOVE saying this to each other. “WHY are thise Republicans so o sessed with genitalia?!”

It’s an awful time to be an American AND a Democrat. We know the right solutions, but we can’t get elected to implement them. It’s frustrating.

Because they’re sexually depraved. Closeted. Predators. They hide behind the religion of MAGA. Why do you think Dump is acquiescing to Poutine? Because he has more on him than PPee tapes. Why do you think Lindsey, who excoriated Trump, is now la dee la la? Because he’s Gayham. And JDeeLaLa’d all the way into Theeeel.

Today’s Democrats feel and express intense contempt for non-Democrats.

As ridiculous as it seems, Democrats felt DEEPLy entitled to the Presidency…with candidate…Kamala Harris. Funny and amazing.

The takeaway from this thread is that Democrats are not ready to admit any past mistakes nor are they serious about trying to win back the House in 2026.
