Reality check: they absolutely will close and to believe otherwise is foolish. |
Ironically, that poster is in full support of terminating genetically abnormal pregnancies. But hey you know better. |
People don’t advocate for terminating YOUR pregnancy. |
And yet, there are mothers in your position who think, if I had a chance to avoid this, i absolutely would. |
j These monstrous abortion bans are having the effect that more 12 year olds are giving birth. It’s unconscionable. |
+1 This is why I am no longer a single issue pro-choice voter |
Yes, she’s alive and posting on dcum. That’s great. Other severely physically disabled babies should not be born, like she was born, and given a chance to live and post on dcum. Their lives aren’t as valuable as hers- she doesn’t explain why they aren’t. |
Did she ever say her life is valuable? All she said was she’d understand opting out. |
I don't think women and girls need to be forced to report their rapists. Encouraged and supported, yes, absolutely. But let's face it. Rape is traumatizing and many who experience it don't want to face the consequences of bringing it to authorities. For one, we've all seen how people don't believe women who speak out against their assaulters. What if their rapist is far more powerful than they are and they foresee nothing but misery if they report it? For many, it might be psychologically too much. That's not ideal, but it's a reality and we all know it. Those women should be able to get an abortion without having to undergo more trauma. And then there are minors who may not have the support of their parents to bring the rapists to account especially if the rapist is a family member. Yes, of course that family member should be brought to account and maybe once a girl is no longer a minor she can find the support she needs to bring charges. But the first priority should be making sure that minor doesn't have to endure a pregnancy that resulted from the assault. You sound like you want to control women and girls, though. Yikes. |
+1 I thought it was close to 90% chose to terminate. That number has probably gone down over the last 15 years as people have been pressured to keep their disabled children. |
Yep. Google trisomy pregnancy termination stats if you don’t believe me. Majority will terminate. |
And those who celebrate this the most are the health insurance companies. |
