Because the bill does NOTHING but give more money to the FDA. It does not help feed families during a formula shortage.
It is what Democrats do.... throw money at a problem to say they are doing something.

That is why we are now experiencing inflation.

The mental logic and gymnastics that republics go through must be so exhausting

Both of you need to shut up. Your parties are failures. As a country people who can negotiate workable solutions.

The President just used the military to fly in 38 tons of formula and more is coming. Along with using the Defense Production Act.

I like deciders who act.

With the emergence of monkeypox, maybe the term "a pox on both your houses" (R and D) will have a resurgence.

The GOP appreciates the work you’re doing for their benefit. You can wear it as a perverse badge of honor, but anyone dumb enough to pretend that the GOP is just a normal party has effectively covered themselves with poop and thinks everyone else stinks.

Your hate is palpable. Sad when people cannot recognize the their own failings. You are driving people to the dark side AGAIN. GOP has no solutions and have some ugly supporters, and the Dems are self-serving and pay a lot of lip service to causes they don’t fully embrace for their own personal lives.

Yup. "Avoiding something like the plague" turns out to mean "unwilling to lift a finger to avoid anything."

LOL - the Defense Production Act.... something Psaki swore would not work with infant formula.
And, you know that formula is heading to hospitals and doctor's offices... not for general public supply, right?

As in everything else he has done, Biden has been behind in his response. He should have acted months ago.

That was a response to bleeding-heart with the accusing me of supporting the GOP, which I have not and do not support. Partisans are the real haters around here.

The thing is, in both sides’ing it, you are doing the GOP’s work for them.

Inflation is mostly being caused by supply chain issues and price gauging.

Federal Reserve says you're wrong. HALF of the inflation we're experiencing can be laid out at the feet of cash handouts to parents.

DP here. Literally everything you've posted with the link is wrong. Did you even read it?

Yes - we are still experiencing a baby formula shortage. It has gotten worse... not better.
