The direct phone number is at the bottom of your confirmation message.

Per NoVA Vaccine Hunters, Ffx Govt Center has confirmed that all of today's appointments will be honored.

No one should have to drive 45 minutes....you can do better than this. What's your zip, we'll help you.

I was thinking the same thing. You can drive 45 minutes today or wait 2 days and drive 5 minutes.

FWIW, I booked an appointment at 6:30 last night for the Tysons clinic tonight at 6 pm. I think I may have hit it right as the slots were opening up but it didn't take a ton of effort on my part. I will be cancelling the Sunday appt at Inova I got through the beta link last Monday I am trying to spread out the shots but get DS fully immunized before we travel for winter break so I did want the first one ASAP.

Can someone please tell what/ how to book an appointment at Tysons? I also don’t like the idea that I can’t book a second appointment at the Fairfax goby center. I’m not confident I’ll be able to get the second appointment when I need it. Any help appreciated!

I really would not worry about that at all. Kid had a first shot yesterday elsewhere—we will get the second at a different place, the same way we did with our own.

45 min away was the only place I could get an evening appointment. It's hard for me to take time off next week.

Did you check the Tyson's clinic when they opened that up? Open until 7:35.

I feel guilty going to VA as an MD resident. Am I overthinking this?

This is like being back in spring of 2021. Can't find appointments anywhere for 5-11 year olds at CVS. Am in MoCo. Will just have to keep looking. Ridiculous that nearly 2 years into this pandemic and we still can't roll out of vaccines out smoothly and make them widely available.

Walgreens is not starting this age group until Saturday. Was your appt today?

Yes you are overthinking it. There has been ZERO residency requirements for pediatric vaccines, unlike with the adult vaccine roll out. This is because there is plenty of supply so they are not imposing restrictions like they had to last year. Just book whatever appointment is most convenient for you, location and schedule wise.
