Yep. We made appointments at CVS for this Sunday but then found a better time through VAMS. Will be cancelling tomorrow.

Yep, I am holding 2 CVS appts and 3 walgreens appts. Once the dust settles we will choose the best one and cancel the others.

Lady, this is not last spring. There are PLENTY of appointments available. No need to hoard.

There are tons starting Nov 8th at FFX Govt Center or the 9th at the Lord and Taylor Location in Tysons.

LOL, this is why I booked for next weekend. People will definitely have their supplies in by then. I feel bad, I know three people who have had their appointments cancelled already because the place they booked for tomorrow hasn't received their supply yet.

Same and they’ll work out the kinks.

On Page 1 they have East County, then on Page 2 (which of course takes 10 minutes to load) they have Silver Spring and G'town. But it seems only tomorrow's slots are even loaded yet.

We had appts booked for tomorrow and cvs canceled on us stating they have not received the doses.

So everyone is jumping the gun here. No rush. It’s been 18 mos of this $hit and more to come.

You are lecturing and you jumped the gun... nice. Everyone in DCUM says kids aren't at risk, so why the rush.

Easy. People want to travel for the holidays and they don't want kids feeling sick or infecting grandma and grandpa.

Kaiser is now taking appointments but they don't start until Weds 11/10. They have availability in MD.

I just signed my kids up for appointments at Tysons on the 11th. Tons of time slots / appts available. We do not travel over T'giving so luckily we aren't in a huge rush.

I’m boarding. I already cancelled all but one of them. I will cancel the other one as long as our mass vax site goes smoothly and isn’t cancelled, like the first one was. With all the cancellations it’s smart to have at least one backup. I don’t care what anonymous internet posters think. Like you alll have said “no rush” and “plenty of appointments.”

Last night I was able to get two spots at fairfax gov center for tomorrow 11/5 and there were appts available on Friday and then all next week, but not this weekend. I’ll pull the kids out of school early tomorrow.

Has anyone tried just calling Walgreens? I did to confirm my vax appointment but the operator asked first if she could help make one for me.

Next available at FGC is 11/9 (Tuesday). People should book now if they want them.

Please if you got a Walgreens/CVS appt this weekend, could you report back if you were actually able to get the vaccine? I'm a bit nervous that I'm going to drive 45min to my Walgreens appt on Monday and they won't have any supply.

I have an appointment today and am calling now to confirm they have it before I drive out there.
