It's been pulled, along with a 5 part podcast which was going to be released after episode 2.

Oh, for God's sake. If you go to the BBC website for this program, it specifically says they have to block viewers from outside the UK for copyright/legal reasons. I'm sure they demanded YouTube yank it as well, as happens with every broadcast program by their networks. There are always bootleg uploads of shows that get taken down quickly. There is a show I used to watch regularly by catching it on YouTube within the hour that it aired live. After that, every upload of it was gone.

It’s so unfortunate Meghan didn’t Google anything about anything related to the BRF, and simply turned limpid, bright, and shining eyes towards the friend who set her up with Harry and asked, in an elegant and lowered voice, “is he kind?” Really a shame.

Just watched part 2 of the BBC doc. It's a coup for the Sussexes. Wow, the royal rota come off looking as horrendous as you'd expect, with not a single ounce of self-awareness between them. Camilla Tominey can barely hide her bias, it's showing through her teeth. No idea how she became a journalist, she's so clearly a hack drunk on power.

William and Kate actually don't look as bad as you'd think; they're clearly conniving in their own way, but the clear villain in this entire story is the British tabloid press, by far. Despicable. You think American press is bad; it doesn't seem there's not even a pretense of ethics in that country's media, at all.

Very random, but it actually sort of reminded me a bit of the fantastic Netflix doc on the Amanda Knox case, which also touches a bit on the role of the British press in that whole fiasco. It seems they're extremely keen on devouring women. Deeply misogynistic in every sense -- especially when you consider that Harry is actually the one who was most vocal and most combative against the rota.

The saddest part, perhaps, is just how susceptible the public is to the press. I suppose that's why they have so much power, and why they're so drunk off of it.

Something I keep thinking about is how the number one attack against Meghan is some iteration of, "I thought she wanted privacy? Why is she in the news/speaking/opening her mouth/getting pictures taken of her?" But neither she nor Harry have EVER even spoken about it. And yet you will consistently find this criticism of them in nearly every single comment section on the internet that pertains to the Sussexes. Shows just how pervasive the toxic influence of the tabloid press can be.

I interviewed with them for a position. I went in thinking they were awful and believing everything written about them. Honestly they were just so nice. I didn’t get the job, but wish that I did. They were the complete opposite of who I expected them to be. No I will not reveal any more info or what position I applied for, I just wanted to say -whether you believe me or not- that they are actually really nice. Jeff can even tell you I previously participated in this thread maybe a year ago bashing them a couple times. I feel bad about that now.
