Show me on a doll where anyone in the family hurt Meghan.

- I get that that the fake snaps were tacky and embarrassing - but does that make him the most vile, abusive father ever? Wasn’t he fairly quiet up until Meghan had her minions attack him in people magazine??

On the other hand you have Meghan, who lied on Oprah by strongly insinuating that Archie didn’t get his prince title because of his color and then doubling down by leveling terrible accusations of racism at the entire family by not naming who she was accusing.

I think on balance, and not knowing what all went on behind closed doors, Meghan comes across as much more vicious and abusive than her dad.

I think Meghan expected him to reel in her sister and was pissed about that and it spiraled out of control. Because it seemed pretty clear that Meghan blamed Given the 16 year age gap and the fact that the only picture of Meghan and Samantha appears to be from like 20 years ago (the one with Samantha in a graduation outfit and Meg with OG nose) I doubt Samantha had enough first hand knowledge to do all those interviews and write a book. But also unreasonable to try and get a dad to chose one kid over another.

Can you please articulate all of these horrific racist incidents and source them? Thanks!

DP. Sure!:

Prince Phillip: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.aljazeera.com/amp/opinions/2017/8/13/the-priceless-racism-of-the-duke-of-edinburgh

Prince William mansplaining why Africans are ruining the environment by having kids (despite himself having three kids)

No one asking Princess Michael of Kent to take off that super offensive broach and also the fact that she previously got in trouble for telling black diners in NYV to “go back to the colonies” (demonstrating that she is both racist and stupid)

Prince Harry’s own racist comments in the military

Prince Charles: anti semitism https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.haaretz.com/amp/world-news/europe/prince-charles-1986-letter-blamed-jews-for-unrest-in-middle-east-1.5464756

Very, very much a racist family. So not sure why you would bend yourself into pretzels disbelieving that a bunch of racists could…do/say something racist.

Elizabeth seems like the only good one out of the bunch.

It’s so unfortunate Meghan didn’t Google anything about anything related to the BRF, and simply turned limpid, bright, and shining eyes towards the friend who set her up with Harry and asked, in an elegant and lowered voice, “is he kind?” Really a shame.

Yeah that was a stupid move, sometimes it's better to say nothing at all.

What did he say?

It’s a “she,” and she gave a very carefully worded response that had obviously been lawyered within an inch of its life. Basically, they are conceding that she was a b*tch, but claiming that it doesn’t meet their definition of “bullying.”

‘No, absolutely not. I think the first thing to be really clear about what bullying is.

‘What bullying actually means is improperly using power repeatedly and deliberately to hurt someone, physically or emotionally.

‘The Duchess of Sussex absolutely denies ever doing that.’

She also set up a wonderful straw man (who claimed “everyone had to leave”?).

"This narrative that no-one could work for the Duchess of Sussex, that she was too difficult or demanding a boss, and that everyone had to leave, is just not true,” says Jenny Afiain a teaser for part two of Princes and the Press.

Not only is that not the definition of bullying, but she did something really nasty there. She says it has to be repeated, meaning the victims have to provide proof of many instances, and she said it has to be deliberate, again meaning victims have to prove intention. This is not just legalese, this is a way to discredit victims.

Other straw man in her statement. “There is no way to defend against bullying allegations”. Wrong, it’s up to the other side to prove they were bullied. There are multiple people lodging complaints and multiple eyewitnesses. Surely if Meghan did not bully someone, anyone, would have come forward to provide a different account.

What??? Right now, we have zero people lodging complaints and absolutely zero eyewitnesses. What are you talking about?

This is the family Meghan chose to marry into.

It’s clear that the people who worked with her didn’t like her but we haven’t gotten a single specific allegation yet. The fact that no one else in the BRF seemingly did anything to stop her kind of undermines things.

Agree. The anti-Meghan crazies already have their minds made up without hearing any of the specifics. Why have we not heard from any accusers, even indirectly? All we have heard is from the palace spokesman. Also the number goes from 2-10 and then back down again. Why the rush to believe invisible people but not Meghan when she said she was being bullied? At least she is willing to stand behind her words.

Exactly. The only thing that’s been confirmed is that Meghan was called names by certain members of the palace stuff.

You are ill informed. There is a formal bullying investigation going on with specific allegations. Complaints were filed with HR by end of 2018, well before the Sussexes exited the scene. It is actually quite extraordinary that this reached HR given the Sussexes level of power. Also, there was a meticulously researched article in The Times written by Valentine Low revealing the disturbing level of bullying the victims endured as told by them and others who corroborated their story. The Sussexes did not threaten legal action against the Times or that article.

This is a bad look and very damaging to the reputation of the RF and the Queen and they know it. This is what happens when you mix business with family without clear rules and safeguards in place. Will be interesting to see how they handle it next year. Will they do a mea culpa or burry it in their annual report.

Why?

If there is one thing that I have learned from reading this thread, any time a Meghan hater declares a PR fumble, that means that in reality the PR went very well. The confidence with which the haters declare mistakes is only matched by how wrong they turn out to be. I don't even usually watch whatever it is that they are fussing about any more because they have such a remarkable track record of being wrong. I just skim here and assume that reality is the opposite of what they declare here.

Yup. Oh, the haters.

Thomas Markle, himself, said on an Australian morning news program on TV that the William's secretary coordinated with him to help sabotage the wedding.

Here is Valentine Low today asking Meghan’s discredited lawyer to provide specifics on any inaccuracies.

It sounds like Meghan isn’t coming out of this looking good by the end of the week and her lawyer is trying to deflect in anticipation of the decision. Good luck with that.
